Dallas is an American prime time television soap opera. The series is a continuation of the original series of the same name that aired on CBS from 1978 to 1991 (though it does not follow the events of the TV movies Dallas: J.R. Returns (1996) and Dallas: War of the Ewings (1998)). It includes several actors/characters from the original series, and focuses mainly on John Ross Ewing III and Christopher Ewing, the adult sons of Ewing brothers J. R. and Bobby, respectively, and their relationship with their fathers.
