He tell her that after Elaine a thought he sent the email that he had an affair with Marta. He tells her that Marta got jealous and things got out of hand. Sue Ellen says that must be suicide, John Ross says he doesn't know. She tells him that he is scaring her, and she asks if this has anything to do with his father's investors.  John Ross says he doesn't want her involved since she's running for governor, that she's got too much to lose.  Sue Ellen tells him that she has got her son to lose and nothing is more important than that.  John Ross tells her that Elena can't find out about him and Marta.  She tell them that they need to find his father.  He told her that this is his mess not JR's and that he will handle it.

The police are telling Bobby about Veronica.  He asks about John Ross he says that he may be a lot of things but he's no murder the police officer says that he's the only suspect they've got.  The evidence is circumstantial, but unless her death is ruled a suicide, it doesn't look good.  Christopher tells Bobby and Ann that he is going into the lab to work on his project and that it's time he started moving on with his life.  Elena come then and Bobby ask how she's doing, she tells him she isn't doing well.  She tells him that John Ross's lawyer doesn't think he will make bail.  She says she wishes there was something she could do, Christopher goes to leave and she asked him whats wrong and to tell her.  He tells her that he may not have killed Veronica, but if you you hang around snakes you're bound to get bit.  She said she understands that he's mad at him but wants to know if he really want to see John Ross punished for something he didn't do.  Elena says that they grew up together and we're best friends, Christopher laughs and says that was a long time ago and walks off.  Christopher stops the sheriff and ask him for a favor he asks him to run a background check on Rebecca. The sheriff says sure thing and he's happy to help.

Bobby's lawyer tell him that it's true that unless he gets the oil he can take South Fork.  Bobby says that they are criminals and they probably killed Marta, his lawyer says that's probably true but until they have proof they are criminals that have a valid claim to the ranch.  Bobby says that this is the big break that they needed they know who JR's investors were, and they know Marta's real name and that there has to be link them to the fraud.  The lawyer his investigators are working on it.  Christopher ask how to JR could do this to his own family.  Bobby tell him that ever since Miss Ellie gave him the ranch JR has been desperate to get it for himself.  Bobby asks the lawyer if they can go to the US Attorney he says that the Vicente must not have a clean record.

He asked if it was Vicente's`s men. John Ross nods. He tell them that they told him that if he doesn't get his oil that they would kill him, just like Marta.  He asks John Ross why he hasn't told the police, he told Christopher that he's already put the family through enough.  Christopher ask him what he's not telling him, he says that there's gotta be a way to prove that he didn't do this.  John Ross tells Christopher that the day you went to see Marta she taped it.  He tells him that they stole the camera.  Vicente is now threatening to use it against him.

Bum call JR, he asks what he learned about what Frank and Cliff doing.  Bum tell JR that's not why he's calling, he tells him that he's got bad news.

Divorce - Ewing Style

Dallas
Season 3 Episode 21
Original Airdate: February 15, 1980

Recap:  When JR walks into Southfork all the lights are off, he knows everyone is home because all the cars are there, suddenly the lights come on and they all call out Happy Anniversary, its Sue Ellen and JR’s 9th wedding anniversary.  Miss Ellie tells him that she hopes he got Sue Ellen something special.  Sue Ellen tells him that she got him something too, and that he can give it to her later (which is good because I think that JR forgot and she knows it).  Jock toasts the “happy couple” and Lucy says who would have thought it would last, to Kristin.  Later JR goes over to Kristin and tells her that she is being a pretty obvious and tells her to at least pretend like she is having a good time, like him.  She asks what Sue Ellen is doing, and JR says that they will find out as Sue Ellen joins them.  Sue Ellen gives a toast to her sister, she says that Kristin will be leaving to go to California, and that she hopes that she can find a man of her own, one that makes her as happy as JR has made her.

After the party JR and Sue Ellen go to their room, he asks her why she threw the party, and she tells him that she did it to show all their friends and family how devoted she is to him.  He lies down on the bed and asks her when she is going to show him this devotion.  She tells him that she will show him right now, and takes the bottle of champagne from him and pours it over him.  He gets up and asks her why she did that.  Sue Ellen tells JR that she needed to cool him off, because she doesn’t want him confused about how she acts in public towards him.  She tells him that they won’t be making love that night or any night till she leaves him with her son.  JR asks her who she is fooling with her act; she says that she already fooled him so everyone else will be easy.  As she leaves he tells her that she won’t take his son.
When JR gets to his office the next day, he is hung over, Louella tells him that Kristin called several times already and wants him to call her back.  He tells her if she calls again to tell her that he is in a meeting.  Louella tells him that Bobby wants to see him.  In Bobby’s office, Bobby tells JR that he wants to open up an old Ewing Oil field that they closed over thirty years ago, he thinks that they could make a pretty good profit with it, but JR doesn’t seem to care about it, he tells Bobby to do it if he wants and leaves the office.  When he goes back to the reception area, Kristin has called again; he shakes his head at Louella who tells Kristin that JR is in a meeting.
Later that day JR is at Serena’s house, she tells him that she is surprised he hasn’t offered to get her a new place, he tells her that he likes the way things are and he pays her.  When he leaves a car follows him as he drives off.
The next day Alan comes to see JR at the office, he tells JR that he needs his help, he tells him that he was fired from the law firm and he knows that he had something to do with it.  Alan apologizes for being greedy.  JR denies knowing what Alan is talking about when he brings up all the things that he did for him.  Alan tells JR that he knows enough to cause him a lot of grief.  JR tells him that he can try, but he suggests that he just get out of town.
JR goes to Kristin’s apartment later; the same car is following him.  Kristin tells JR that she thought he was dead since he never called her back she asks if he got any of her messages.  He tells her that he came to see her and if he wanted screaming and yelling he could go home for that.  Kristin tells him that from what she saw at the party the only thing JR is getting at home is Sue Ellen hanging all over him.  She asks him what Sue Ellen meant about her going to California, she tells him that she isn’t leaving.  JR says that he thought she wanted to continue her education, Kristin says that she was learning enough when she was working for him.  JR tells her that since she isn’t working at the office anymore, and if she doesn’t like waiting for him to come over if he decides to then he can get her a ticket to California anytime.  She apologizes and tells him that she just misses seeing him during the day.  He tells her he will come over again tomorrow.  He goes to his car and this time notices that a car is following him.
The next morning JR makes a phone call from his car (on his car phone) to the police and asks Detective McSween to come to the office to talk.
Miss Ellie is talking to Matt Devlin, she is still trying to get him to stop building on Mimosa Park, she asks him where people will go if they tear it down to build the housing development.
JR tells the McSween about the car that was following him.  Detective McSween says that if he calls him later and tells him where he will be then they will keep an eye on him.  He tells JR that Cliff is now working for the District Attorney’s office.
Kristin answers the door thinking that it is JR, but it’s really Alan, he has come over to try to get her to work with him at getting JR back, he tells her that he knows that she kept some records, and he did to.    When he leaves he says that it would be a shame to give everything she has up.
JR is back with Serena, she tells him that if he just wanted to talk then they could have talked on the phone, and that he doesn’t get a discount for just talking.  JR gets up and pays her and leaves.  He drives off and the other car pulls out and starts to follow him too, but is soon pulled over by the police.  JR drives back and asks who he is and who hired him.  The guy finally gives it up and tells JR and the police that he’s a private investigator and he tells them who hired him.
JR goes in to his bedroom and tells Sue Ellen that no one does that to him.  She asks him why she would do it, and he says that’s what he wants to know.  Sue Ellen tells him that she is paying him back for all the times he had her followed.  He realizes that this is how she is going to try to win custody.  He tells her that he will kill her first; she tells him that he doesn’t have the guts.
JR complains to Kristin about what Sue Ellen has done.  He tells her that he needs to get Sue Ellen locked back up in the sanitarium, for good this time.  He says that they need to get her drinking again, or at least make everyone think that she is drinking again.  He tells Kristin that he will need her help, she tells him that she would do anything for him, she tells him that she wants something in return, she wants to be the next Mrs. JR Ewing.  He says that they shouldn’t rush in to anything, but she is adamant, and he agrees.  He tells her that he wants her to take Sue Ellen out to lunch the next day.
The next day at lunch, Kristin thanks her for coming.  Sue Ellen tells her that she was curious about what she wanted.  Kristin tells her that she is sorry for everything she has done.  She tells Sue Ellen that she is going to California and that she wants to make it up to her.  Kristin tells her that she was only doing what their mother taught her, Sue Ellen tells her that she is smart, that it took her awhile to learn that about their mother.  Kristin tells her that she is trying to change and wants to be friends.  Sue Ellen agrees, they toast to this, but Kristin spills her drink all over Sue Ellen, she leaves to try to clean herself up.
JR goes to Sue Ellen’s PI and pays him off to change the reports, he tells him not to worry about the ones he sent to Sue Ellen, he’ll take care of those.
The Sheriff comes over to Southfork and tells Jock and Miss Ellie that Ray can start working on his house again; they don’t have any leads on the body that was found.  Miss Ellie asks if they are closing the case, he tells her that they aren’t but they won’t be focusing their time on it anymore.  When Sue Ellen gets home Miss Ellie asks her how her lunch went, Jock and Ellie ask her about the stain on her dress.  She tells them about Kristin spilling her drink.  Jock makes a comment about thinking that Kristin only drank white wine.  In her room Sue Ellen hides the report under her jewelry drawer in the dresser.
Later that night Miss Ellie asks JR what’s wrong, he tells his parents that he found a liquor bottle in the bedroom and thinks that Sue Ellen has started drinking again, he asks Miss Ellie to watch her during the day, but asks them not to talk to her about it.  Jock says that he thought Sue Ellen was acting funny that afternoon.  JR calls Kristin and she tells him that she knows what she needs to do next.
When Jock gets to the office Kristin is there waiting for JR, he takes her into the office with him, and she asks him if Sue Ellen got home ok, and that she didn’t know that Sue Ellen started drinking again.  He asks her if Sue Ellen was drinking at lunch, Kristin tells him that she had three drinks, four if you count the one she spilled.
Later Sue Ellen is pulled over; JR’s friend at the police is in the back of the police car.  Bobby is the one to answer the call from the police letting the family know that she was pulled over for suspicion of drunk driving but no arrest.  She and Bobby come home alone, he tells Jock and Miss Ellie that JR stayed behind to smooth things over, and he tells them that next time they will arrest her.
JR tells Kristin that everyone believes Sue Ellen is drinking again.  He tells her that he doesn’t want to rush things; she tells him that she can’t wait to live at Southfork.  He tells her again not to rush things.
Sue Ellen tells her therapist that she is sure JR is behind this, she tells him that she is frustrated that no one believes her.  He tells her that he doesn’t understand why JR would be doing this.  She tells him that she made a mistake by telling JR that she was leaving and that she hired a PI to follow him.  She asks Dr. Ell by if he believes her.  She tells him that JR wants to put her back in the sanitarium, but she won’t let him this time.
At the house Sue Ellen tells JR that her therapist doesn’t believe that she is drinking again.  She confronts him in front of the family about him trying to get them to believe that she is drinking again to send her away, she tells them that she hired a PI and she has the reports to prove what he’s been doing, she goes up to get the reports.  Bobby tells JR to stop her.  When Sue Ellen comes back down she gives Jock and Miss Ellie the reports.  They tell her that it only says that JR went to meetings and dinner with friends of the family.  She realizes that he switched the reports, she attacks him, and Bobby and Pam pull her away and take her upstairs.  JR tells his parents that he is sorry that they had to witness that, he calls the doctor to come and check on Sue Ellen.
Final Thoughts:  JR is definitely going to have some trouble with Kristin.  I really can't believe that Kristin could do this to her sister.  I really feel bad for Sue Ellen, she really has no one on her side to believe her, she was stupid to hire such a stupid PI, I'm sure that there could have been someone who wouldn't have got caught.
Best Outfit:  Alan has a corduroy suit with what looks like a corduroy tie.

The Hearing

Dynasty
Season 2 Episode 13
Air Date:   February 10, 1982

Recap:  Blake is listening to the radio coverage of his press conference about his trial against Logan Rhinewood.  He gets out of bed and leaves his room without waking Joseph.  He goes downstairs, Jeff comes out of his room in time to see Blake trip on some steps.  When Jeff tries to help him down the rest of the stairs Blake yells at him telling him that he can do it himself.  They go to the library for a brandy.  Blake tells Jeff that he feels so helpless, but he’s sure that there are a lot of people out there that are pleased with his condition, but he will come back stronger.  He thanks him for saving his life.  Blake then says that he is going to nail Logan Rhinewood, nail him hard.  I found this to be the most unintentionally dirty thing I’ve heard on the show so far, and it’s something that I completely missed the first time I watched this episode.
Fallon wakes up and calls Nick, he just wants to go back to sleep, but she wants to talk and tell him about her dream she had about them.  She tells him that she is lonely, he reminds her that she has a husband.  After they hang up she goes to Jeff who is reading in his bed.  She gets in with him, and he tells her that whatever she wants he finds the book more interesting.
Joesph is leading Blake to his car, he leaves him in the drawing room while he goes to get it, the phone rings and Blake and Krystle answer it at the same time, its one of Logan Rhinewood henchmen, they threaten him.  Krystle rushes to Blake and begs him not to go, but he tells her that he has to.  She tells him that she wants to go with him, but he tells her that there is no point it would just be a mockery of their marriage.
Sammy Joe is upset with Steven because he didn’t ask his father for money to get her a car at breakfast that morning, he tells her that his father has a lot on his mind today, she gets annoyed that he doesn’t get anything but Fallon who isnt’ a Carrington gets whatever she wants, he tells her she better not say anything about Fallon.  She tells him that she won’t.  She tells him that she went to the bank and that they can get credit from the bank, he rips up the paper and tells her not to do it again.  She tells him that being a Carrington is a waste on him.
Krystle goes downstairs and finds the decorator waiting for Fallon, she goes up and finds Fallon in her room, she tells her that she deosn’t want to pick anything our for the baby’s room, she asks Krystle do to it for her.
Nick is in his office taking note on his other patient, when Fallon comes to see him.  He tells her that he’s very busy, she asks why he is avoiding her, she tells him that she knows he is seeing Krystle and that she saw her at his house.  Nick tells her that she was his patient and he makes his own hours and where he will meet his patients and that he doesn’t want her to follow him.  She tells him that she loves him and doesn’t want him to get hurt.  She tells him that since Blake’s blindness that he and Krystle have grown closer, and that Nick has lost her.  After she leaves he tries to get back to work, but he is preoccupied by what she told him.
Andrew comes to Blake’s office and tells him that the committee has decided that the trial will be a closed session, so none of the media will be allowed inside.  Blake knows that Rhinewood is responsible for this change.  Andrew tells him that it was their decision and that there isn’t anything they can do about it.
Alexis has made an appointment to see Nick, he doesn’t’ believe that she is there to get help and tells her to get to the point.  She tells him that she is here because Fallon is in love with him and even though she wouldn’t encourage it, she thinks that he is worth it.  He asks her if Fallon knows that she is here, she tells him no.  He tells her that Fallon has nothing to worry about, he won’t hurt her.
Jeff brings Blake the report about Nick’s family, he tells him that his half-brother worked for Denver Carrington, he was in the Middle East, when they were trying to get out he was arrested on drug charges and hanged himself in his prison cell.  Blake says that he doesn’t remember any of this.  After Jeff leaves Blake calls Nick and asks him to meet him at the state house, he tells him that they need to talk.
Blake is testifying about what happened the day he was blinded, he tells him that Logan’s man Ray Bonning came to see him that day, and that just the other day one of Rhinewood’s men crippled on of the player on the football team.  They ask him why he was involved with Rhinewood, but Blake doesn’t want to explain why.  Blake gets up when they ask why they should believe him since he was convicted of manslaughter , he puts his hand to his face, and he sees flashes of the courtroom.  Jeff asks him if he is alright, Nick sees all this and leaves the courtroom.  Rhinwood is called to testify
Sammy Joe is trying on furs, the sales lady is reluctant to sell her the mink, she tells her who she is and tells her to charge it to Steven Carrington.  Alexis overhears this and asks her why she is charging things to Steven when she knows he doesn’t have any money.  Alexis threatened to tell Blake, Sammy Joe tells her that she will tell Fallon she isnt’ really a Carrrington.
Logan Rhinewood lawyer comes and tells the committee that he is too ill to be there he provides doctors reports and reads a statement that tells the committee that he has never met Blake and that he has nothing to do with this case.  The committee closes the case.  Blake can’t believe what has happened, but Andrew tells him that they should have expected his, since no one has or will likely see Logan Rhinwood.  As he leads Blake out of the state house Blake tells Joesph that he thought he could see for just a moment, but Joesph tells him that he only knew where everyone was because Jeff told him.  Blake tells him that it was just wishful thinking.
Nick finds Krystle and tells her what he witnessed, and that he thinks Blake’s eyesight is coming back.  He wants to take her to the mansion and pack her things right then, but she tells him that she can’t leave until she knows for sure that he can see again.  Nick accuses her of using him to get back at Blake for sleeping with  Alexis, she tells him that she just needs sometime.  She walks away, and he comes after her and apologizes, he asks her to talk to him and she tells him that she has nothing to stay to him.
Fallon is upset with Alexis for going to see Nick.  She tells her that Nick will thinks he put Alexis up to it.  Fallon tells her that she isn’t sure about her plan to get Krystle out of Blake’s life, she says that she could go to Nick.  Alexis tells her that he’s only interested in her because she is a wealthy man’s wife, but that Fallon has everything that he has ever fought for.  She tells her just to go along with the plan.
The mail arrives and Fallon takes up the letter to Blake, she stops on the stairs for a moment, she goes into his room and tells him how sorry she is about what happened, and asks him to give it up, but he tells her that he can’t.  He asks her how the nursery is coming along.  He tells her he can’t wait to see or feel the baby, when he remembers he can’t see.  She tells him he got a letter, he asks her to read It to him.  She opens it and doesn’t want to read it, but he makes her.  It says “Why do some many frustrated wives go to bed with their shrinks.  Ask your wife”  She tells him that it’s just a cruel joke and asks him to forget about it, he tells her he will.  When she leaves him he crushes the letter, then he looks at his hand and realizes that he can see, he opens the letter and reads it for himself.  Joesph asks if it’s good news, thinking he’s smiling about the letter, he asks if he would like him to read it to him.  Blake tells him that there is no need and proves to him that he can see again.  He tells him to keep the news to himself for awhile.  He’s got plans.
Final Thoughts:  I'm glad that they aren't making the story about Blake's blindness go on and on, I think it will be interesting to see if Nick can get Blake to crack and prove that he can see before Blake is ready with whatever he's got planned.  Alexis needs to stick her nose out of everything, I don't think she really wants Blake back, she wants the money, but she needs something else to occupy herself.
Best Outfit: That's a lot of red, it makes me think of a crayon.

Dallas
Season 1 Episode 2
Air Date: April 9, 1978 (1978-04-09)

Recap:  Lucy is getting the mail and burns a letter.
In the barn Bobby is giving Pam riding lessons, but what he really wants to do is have sex with her.  Bobby overhears Ray complaining to another ranch-hand about having to take Lucy to school.  Bobby confronts him and tell Ray that he has to do what his father told him to do.  It must be pretty early because they haven't had breakfast yet.  He tries to get Pam to go have sex with him again, but she tells him that she's hungry.
At the breakfast table the family is talking about Lucy, who has skipped breakfast again, she's been skipping school and is getting behind.  When she finally joins them Sue Ellen asks if she's going to change before going to school.  I'm not really sure what is wrong with the light blue sweater and jeans she's wearing, but apparently it will embarrass the family if she's wearing that, so she goes to change.
Outside Ray asks Pam if Bobby is going to have him fired.  She tells Bobby what he said while saying goodbye to him.  Lucy comes out and she's changed, she's got the brightest red pants I've ever seen.  Miss Ellie talks to Pam about Lucy and how her father isn't as strong as the other Ewing men, and that Lucy is spoiled, wow thanks for stating the obvious there.  She thanks Pam for listening to her.
In Ray's truck Lucy unbuttons her vest, she convinces Ray to take her back to Southfork.  Sue Ellen and Miss Ellie leave and now Pam is alone.
The phone rings and after realizing that she is now a Ewing too, when they caller asks for a Mrs. Ewing, we find out it's the school, they want to know where Lucy is, Pam says she'll bring her in as soon as she finds her.  Out in the barn Pam calls for Ray, he comes down from the loft and she tells him to leave so she can talk to Lucy.  Lucy comes down and Pam tells her she's going to tell Jock about Lucy burning the letters from the school, if she doesn't start going.  Pam wins, and she takes her to school.
At the office Julie, JR's secretary tells him that Bobby is figuring things out.  JR needs to think of away to keep Bobby from finding out what's going on with the business.
Pam and Lucy arrive at school and they meet up with the teacher who called.  He says he can tutor Lucy in math, which is her worst subject.  After school, Roger comes up to her and tells her about the club he's in, and that they offer tutoring, she says that hes' probably a wiz at sex ed.  Pam come and in the car she says that he was cute, and tells Lucy that she should date someone her own age.  She's bought Lucy some new clothes, which Lucy throws out the window, but after Pam stops the car she retrieves it.
Back at the ranch she drops Lucy off then drives over to the barn to talk to Ray.  She tell him that she'll tell Jock, JR and Bobby about him and Lucy if she catches them together again.  In her room Lucy cuts the shirt that Pam bought for her.
The next day at school, Lucy is in the teacher's office, he's grading her work, Roger is watching from the other room and sees her take off her jacket, we can see what she was doing the night before.  Suddenly she starts screaming for him to keep his hands off her.  When Pam comes to the school to pick up Lucy Roger tells her about what happened, but not what he really saw.  Pam goes to the principals office and isn't convinced like the principal that the teacher is guilty.  She tells him not to call the police until she's talked with Lucy, the principal says to the teacher that he better hope that Pam can get her out of this.
At the office Bobby is talking to JR, who goes on about how Bobby has been "playing" while JR has been learning the business.  So in his mind Bobby doesn't deserve to know anything.
Pam finds Lucy walking home and confronts her about what happened at the school.  She did it just because Pam made her go to school.  Sue Ellen insults Pam because she's worked in retail, after Miss Ellie asks if the outfit that Lucy is wearing is on that Pam bought her.  Lucy gets a phone call, she asks Jock if she can go to a party with a boy from school.  JR and Sue Ellen stick their nose in, but Jock agrees.  JR says that Lucy makes him feel old.  Miss Ellie says JR was born old, I love Miss Ellie.
Bobby and Pam are planning to go out, but get distracted with a little kissing.  Lucy gets into the car with Roger, who is blackmailing her, she tells him she wants to go dancing because it puts her into the mood, so off they go to a club.  At the disco, which is "awesome", everyone is having a great time.  Ray is there and Lucy goes off with him and tell him she needs him to help her get rid of his guy.  Of course this is where Pam and Bobby are going too.  She see Roger dancing she goes over and he tells her that he's there with Lucy.  Bobby sees Lucy with Ray, and he hits him.  Ray has three guys holding him back, he suggest they go outside to finish this, and that this isn't about him and Lucy, it's still about him and Pam.  Pam realizes that Roger knew what really happened and that he's blackmailing her, she says she's going to make him tell the principal what he saw.  Lucy tells Pam that she's worse than Sue Ellen, and makes her cry when she says she really a Ewing now, because she's using people.  Bobby talks to Lucy and convinces her that Pam really cares about Lucy, so they go over to Pam and apparently have a great time.
Final Thoughts:  This episode had a lot of drama, the whole thing with Lucy and the teacher, would be so different now, the police would have been called right away and the school would have called her family.  So Lucy is 16, and Pam and Bobby let her stay at the club, even though I'm pretty sure it's a school night and she's underage.  I guess it's okay then, if she's with them and not with a blackmailer or the ranch-hand.
Best outfit:  Who wouldn't want this bright red vest/pant suit
Fight Count: 1- Bobby and Ray
