Season 2 Episode 17

Air Date:  March 10, 1982

Recap:  Blake goes to Fallon’s room at the hospital with Krystle, they have brought lunch from the St. Denis Club for her.  Fallon is brought back to the room.  Blake tells her that they want to celebrate, he asks her if she’s seen the baby yet.  She tells him no, and that she doesn’t want to see him.  He asks her what’s wrong.  She tells him that she just wants to be left alone.

   At his office Blake is taking a memo to Andrew to look into who is buying up shares of Denver Carrington.  Jeff comes in and tells Blake that there’s no way to find out since they are doing it in a way that leaves the buy anonymous.  Blake tells him that he knows it Rhinewood, but he just needs proof.  Blake tells Jeff  that he needs his help finding out why Fallon is being so distant with him, he wants to know what she thinks he has done.

   The groundskeeper, Tony, goes to see Alexis , she tells him that he’s got a loose tongue.  She tries to get him to retract his story about her shooting that day.  She tells him that she will accuse him of stealing from her if he doesn’t tells Krystle he was wrong.  He agrees and goes to see Krystle and tells her that he was mistaken.  Alexis tells Krystle that she forgives her for accusing her and for the fight.  Krystle tells her that she thinks this is just another of her great performances, and she tells Alexis that she thinks she was just afraid of what she might have told Blake.  Before she leaves she tells Alexis that she will never forget what she cost her.

   Alexis goes to see Fallon, thinking that she has finally forgiven her, but Fallon just want to know if Blake has know about his all along.  Alexis tells her that she told him once during an argument, but that he never believed her.  Fallon tells Alexis that she doesn’t believe in anyone anymore thanks to her.

   Nick goes to see the baby, the doctor lets him inside, he asks how the baby is doing.  She tells him that they are doing everything that they can for him, but he isn’t doing as well as she would have hoped.  He asks if he can tell  the parents, but she tells him no, she is the babies doctor, but does agree to hold off telling them the bad news for awhile.

   Steven wants to go find Sammy Joe, but Alexis tells him that he should count his pleasings that she is gone.  Steven tells her that he doesn’t believe that Sammy Joe went to her for money, and wants to know what she is holding back to protect herself. 

   Nick goes to Fallon and asks her why she doesn’t want to see her baby.  She ends up telling him it’s because of Blake not being her father, she asks him not to tell anyone she told him. 

   Nick goes to see Blake and tells him the news about the baby, I guess that it’s okay for him to tell the grandparent, but not the parents. Blake wants to go to see Fallon, but Nick tells him that she doesn’t want to see him, and that she is suffering from an identity crisis, because she doesn’t know who her father is.  He tells Blake that the only way for him to prove to Fallon that he is her father is if he takes a blood test.  Blake asks him if she told him who the other man is, Nick tells him that Fallon didn’t tell him.  Blake goes to find the one person who can tell him, but Alexis isn’t home, he finds the portrait still lying on the floor. 

   Nick and the doctor discuss the upcoming surgery, they need to get the parents ok before they proceed.  Nick calls Jeff, but he isn’t home, so he goes to Fallon.  She signs the consent form and ask when the surgery will be.  He tells her it will be in the morning.  He takes her to go see the baby, telling her that if he were to die without her seeing him she would never make it.  Fallon looks at her baby and everything changes for her in that moment.

   Claudia goes into Jeff’s office and unlocks the box in the drawer and is taking pictures of some papers when he walks in on her.  He tells her that his meeting was called off, and asks her why.  She tells him that his uncle wanted the information.  She admits that she took him to her apartment to get the key, but everything after that was different.  She tells him she was doing it because Cecil has information about where Lindsay and Matthew are.

   At the hospital Nick takes Blake and Krystle to the baby and tells them that they are going to perform surgery to close the hole in his heart, he tells them that it is dangerous since he’s so young.

   At ColbyCo. Jeff tells Cecil to tell Claudia where Lindsay is or he will go to Blake.  Cecil tell shim that his hands are clean, he tells him that it was all Claudia’s idea.  Jeff grabs him and demands that he tell him.  Cecil finally tells him that Lindsay and Matthew disappeared and after an accident in Peru are believed to be dead.  Jeff says that he only did it so he could get her to spy for him.  They are interrupted by an emergency call for Jeff about the surgery.  He runs out of the office.

   At the hospital he meet up with Krystle and Blake who tells him that it’s been an hour and they haven’t heard anything.  Not long after that the doctor comes out to talk to them.  Jeff tells Fallon that the baby is alive, but it will be awhile before he can go home.  Fallon tells Jeff that she won’t give the baby up.  Jeff gets upset with her, since one minute she doesn't want the baby and now she does.  Nick come in and asks to talk to Jeff.  In the hall Jeff tells Nick just to stay out of it.  Nick ties to tell him something but Jeff hits him, Nick grabs him and holds him to the wall telling him that he gets the one, but that he needs to think about his son now and not himself. 

   Blake finds Alexis and tells her that he swore to kill her if she ever told that lie again, Alexis swears to him that she wasn’t the one, that it was Sammy Joe.  Then she goes on about how she is the victim, but he tells her that they need to think about Fallon.  Blake tells her to tell him who the other man is, she tries to blow him off, but he grabs her and she finally tells him that it’s Cecil Colby. 

   Jeff goes to his office and finds Claudia waiting for him.  She tells him that she is going to tell Blake and is going to resign from Denver Carrington.  He stops her before she can go, and tells her about the accident in Peru.  He tells her that they haven't found anything yet.  She goes home and calls Cecil, but he isn’t there, she goes in the trunk and finds Matthew’s gun, she picks it up, looking at it.

Final Thoughts:  Oh no what's Claudia going to do now, Nick isn't practicing anymore so who will help her recover?  Of course Fallon will want to keep her baby it was obviously going to happen.

Best Outfit:  Doesn't his pink shirt set off his smoking jacket well.

Season 2 Episode 16

Air Date:  March 3, 1982

Recap:  The guests are all leaving the party, everyone is saying goodbye to Blake and Krystle as they leave the house.  Cecil comes up and tells Blake that he is very pleased for him, he asks if anyone has seen Alexis, so seems to have disappeared.

   Alexis goes back to Fallon, who has woken up.  Fallon cries out saying it’s the baby.  Alexis flags down a car.

   Claudia takes Jeff back to her apartment.  He tells her that he’s glad that they left the party, that he’s in a much better mood now, but that it’s getting late and that he better go.  She asks him to stay, and tells him about her and Matthew.  Claudia tells him that it’s nice to talk to someone.  Again Jeff tells her that he should go, but she kisses him.

   Nick meets up with the doctor who hired him, after checking up on the boy he performed surgery on, he asks him if he was serious about the job offer.  He is still there when Fallon Is brought in, he tries to calm Alexis down as she is taken into surgery,

   Blake and Krystle are having champagne in front of the fireplace, he tells Krystle that he loves her.  They are kissing, when the phone rings, at first he says to ignore it, but when it keeps ringing, he answers it.  It’s Alexis, she tells him about Fallon’s accident.

   Claudia takes Jeff’s keys while he is sleeping, she hurries out the house quietly so she doesn't wake him up.

   At the hospital Fallon wakes up and finds Nick with her, he tells her that everything will be alright, and promises to be with her.  Her doctor takes Nick aside and tells him that they will have to perform an emergency c-section.  He asks about the baby’s chances, she tells him that all they can do is hope for the best.  Fallon is taken into surgery as Blake and Krystle arrive, Blake asks Alexis what happened.  She tells him what happened, leaving out the fact that Fallon was upset about learning that he might not be her father, she says that Fallon drank too much.  Krystle calls her out on that lie, but Alexis manages to convince Blake that this is the truth.  Blake says that all they can do is pray that Fallon got to the hospital in time.  The baby is delivered, but it’s not breathing, they work on him and he starts breathing on his own they take him up to NICU.

   Claudia comes back and while she is trying to get the key back onto Jeff’s key chain he wakes up and she tells him that she was going to go out to get something for breakfast.  He says that he better go, but she asks him to stay with her a while longer, while they kiss she slips his keys back into his pocket, without him ever knowing it was gone.

   The doctor comes out and tells them that Fallon will be fine and that the baby is a fighter, she tells them that the pediatrician thinks that he will be just fine.  Alexis asks if she can see Fallon, the doctor tells her that they can see her tomorrow.  Steven arrives at the hospital, Blake asks if he’s with Jeff, he tells his father that he hasn’t seen Jeff, so Blake goes to call Jeff.  Alexis asks Krystle if she feels bad about Fallon being able to give Blake what she couldn’t. 

   At the house Steven is picking up Sammy Joe's clothes, she wakes up and asks him what he’s doing, he tells her that he’s going to visit his sister, and he tells her that she better be there since she want through so much trouble having that party for them last night.  She tells him that she can’t go since she’s got a headache.  He gets mad and storms out.

   Fallon wakes up in her hospital room, Alexis tells her that she had her baby.  Fallon tries to remember what happened, then remembers what Sammy Joe told her.  She gets upset, and Alexis tries to calm her down, Fallon says that she feels like nothing now, she tells Alexis to leave and tells her if she doesn’t get out she will have her kicked out.  She doesn’t want to see her ever again.

   Jeff comes home and talks to Blake, it takes him a bit before he realizes that Blake can see again.  Blake tells him about the accident and tells him that the baby has arrived.  Jeff is upset that he wasn’t there.

   Back at the hospital Nick as the pediatrician how the Colby baby is doing, she tells him that his breathing isn’t good. 

   Alexis demands that Joseph send Sammy Joe to see her as soon as she gets home. 

   Krystle meets Blake at the hospital, she tells him that it’s an important day for him and she wants to be there with him.  They go see Fallon, they both are concerned when they see that she isn’t happy about the baby.  Blake asks her what’s wrong, but she won’t say.  Krystle leaves thinking that Fallon doesn’t want to talk in front of her.  Blake asks her again, and she tells him that she is just tired and doesn’t want to talk, he leaves and tells Krystle that Fallon is very disturbed about something.  Krystle tells him that Fallon was in a great mood at the beginning of the party and that he should ask Alexis about what happened.

   Alexis' private investigator, Morgan Hess calls and tells her that he’s got some news for her, she tells him it better be good.  Sammy Joe comes over and asks her what she wants.  Alexis asks her why she told Fallon that terrible lie.  Sammy Joe tells her that she doesn’t believe that it is a lie.  Alexis offers her $20,000 to leave Steven and get an annulment.  She asks her if she knows what that is, Sammy Joe doesn’t so Alexis tells her, and Sammy Joe tells her that she and Steven slept together a lot so that wouldn’t work.  Sammy Joe tells her that she’ll show the annulment papers to Steven, if she doesn’t agree to her terms, she’ll take the money and go, so Alexis gives her the check,

   Jeff goes to Fallon’s room and tells her that he’s sorry that she had to go through it all alone.  He admits that he was with another woman, she tells him that it’s alright that it was bound to happen.  He tells her that their son it the most important thing right now.  She tells him that she’s got nothing to offer, and that she doesn’t want to see their baby.  He just can’t believe that she doesn’t want to see him.

   Sammy Joe is walking out of the house, when Krystle asks where she is going.  Sammy Joe tells her that Alexis is sending her away, she asks when Alexis will send her packing too.

   Krystle goes to the kitchen and finds the grounds keeper, Tony cleaning a gun for Alexis, she asks him if Alexis was shooting the day she had her accident.  He tells her that Alexis was.  Krystle tells Tony that she will take the gun to Alexis.

   At the cottage Krystle tells Alexis that she knows that she was shooting the day she had her accident.  This leads into the very first cat fight of the series.  Krystle grabs at Alexis who smacks her.  They throw anything with in reach and pull each others hair, Alexis’ clothes are ripped and her house torn apart.  Krystle smashes the portrait of Blake that Alexis was working on.  Krystle is the winner of the fight and with Alexis collapsed in the corner Krystle stands over her and tells her that if she wants a rematch then she knows where to find her.

   Claudia tells Cecil that she got the key, but the papers that he wanted copies of weren’t there.  He tells her that she still needs to get them, that their deal isn’t through till she gets them.  She tells him that he’s made a prostitute of her.  Cecil tells her that once he gets what he wants them there deal will be complete.

   Morgan Hess comes into Alexis’ house, he asks her if she is okay.  She asks what he found out.  He tells her that the divorce papers to Krystle's first marriage were never filed so she is still married to her first husband.  Alexis tells him to go find Mark Jennings, and that she doesn’t care how much it cost.

Final Thoughts:  The cat fight was hilarious, it was a lot of fun trying to spot the stunt doubles, who were clearly men.  The wigs were a giveaway along with the legs on the Alexis double.

Whatever Happened to Baby John? Part I

Season 2 Episode 1

Air Date:   September 21, 1979

Recap:  At the hospital Sue Ellen is looking at the baby, while JR is talking to the doctor, on his way over to Sue Ellen he borrows a lady’s newspaper and reads that Willie Joe Garr and Jeb Ames have been paroled.  He tells Sue Ellen that she gets to go home today and that the doctor told him that the baby can come home in a few days.  They walk out of the hospital and don’t see Cliff, who is lurking in the hallway.

   Bobby and Jock are rounding up the cattle, Bobby found a dead one and they need to take care of the screw worm that is going around or they could lose all the cattle.  JR and Sue Ellen drive by and he makes her wave to Bobby and Jock.

   Pam and Cliff are having lunch, she is trying to tell him that Sue Ellen still isn’t herself, and he needs to give her a chance to get better.  He thinks that he can help her, Pam tells him that he can only help her start drinking again.  Pam tells him he needs to stop blaming JR and start taking some responsibility for himself.

   Lucy is with her friends on the patio, she runs over to JR and Sue Ellen when they get home, she tries to hug Sue Ellen, but she is very distant.  Lucy’s friends say that they thought she was better.  In their room JR tells her that he’s glad that she’s home, and he promises to make it up to her.

   At Ewing Oil, Willie Joe and Jeb are there to see JR, his secretary tells them that he’s not in, they ask about the baby, she tells them that the baby is still in the hospital.

   Miss Ellie is worried about Sue Ellen, but JR tells her that he’s trying hard, and she’ll be herself again soon.  Jock and Bobby get home and tell JR about the cattle.  When Pam gets home she goes after Sue Ellen and tells her that she’s glad that she’s home, Sue Ellen barely acknowledges her.  Pam tells Bobby that it’s impossible t o talk to her, and she thinks that Sue Ellen hates them all.

   Sue Ellen goes to the nursery it’s really creepy, she starts all the music boxes, Bobby goes in and talks to her, he asks her how she is, she tells him that she’s fine, but there is no emotion in her voice at all.  He tells her that everyone cares about her, not just the baby, she says that she knows that, but you can tell that she’s just saying this to get rid of him.  He tells her that she can trust him not to tell anyone what she told him about Cliff and the baby.  She tells him she doesn’t know what he’s talking about then drops the music box she’s holding and walks out of the room.

   Bobby and Jock are checking on the cattle and Bobby has to shoot one.

   JR wants to take Sue Ellen to a little Greek restaurant that they used to go to after they go see the baby, but Sue Ellen tells him that she’s not going to the hospital, she tells him that she needs to rest.  JR goes downstairs and Miss Ellie asks him if when he’s going to see the baby, and offers to take him and Sue Ellen to lunch, he tells her that Sue Ellen isn’t going to the hospital today.  Pam tells Miss Ellie not to worry.

   At the O.L.M office a co-worker is telling Cliff that he needs to stop focusing on Ewing Oil, and that he can’t decline the environmental report, this time.  He tells him that he’s heard things from Austin and if he’s not careful he’ll be out of a job, and have a lot of questions to answer.  Cliff calls the hospital and pretends to be a friend of the family to get information about the baby.

  The secretaries at Ewing Oil are looking through a wedding catalogue, when JR comes in, they tell him that Harv Smithfield is in his office and that Willie Joe and Jeb have been calling for him.  JR goes into his office and meets Alan Beam, the lawyer who will help them with the O.L.M.  Willie Joe and Jeb call, but JR tells the secretary to tell them he’s in a meeting, they say that they will make JR talk to them.

Lucy and Pam go to see the baby, the nurse allows Pam to hold the baby since she tells them that Sue Ellen won’t be coming in today.

   JR updates Jock about Alan Beam.  Pam and Lucy get home, JR goes over to Sue Ellen who is sitting by the pool, he tells her that he wants her to start taking an interest in things.  She asks like what.  He tells her the baby.  He gives her a ring, but she tells him that she can’t be bought anymore.

   Miss Ellie and Sue Ellen are talking in the dining room the next morning, she tells Sue Ellen not to brood on the past.  She tells her that she and Jock are very happy to have another grandchild, but they want her to be happy too.  Lucy comes in and asks when they are going to go see the baby, Sue Ellen gets up to go change, but fakes a dizzy spell and says that she’s going to lie down.  Lucy says she doesn’t think Sue Ellen wants her baby, Miss Ellie tries to deny it, but Lucy says that some mothers don’t want their babies like her parents didn’t want her.

   At the hospital they run into Pam, they tell her that the baby will be able to come home tomorrow.

   Alan tells JR that the property they want to drill is perfect, and he’ll write up a brief and if Cliff shuts them down again, then they can file an abuse of power against him.  JR’s secretary comes in and tells him that Willie Joe and Jeb are here to see him, he tells her to tell them that he’s in a meeting, but they burst in anyway.  They tell him that they want to talk to him in private.  They tell JR it feels like he’s been avoiding them, they tell him that they think he’s just as responsible for Julie’s death as they are.  They want him to give them money since they can’t touch their own because they are being sued by everyone.  He tells them that he’s not going to give them a cent, and tells them to get out of his office, they tell him that he’ll be sorry.

   When Bobby gets home he finds Sue Ellen home, he tells her that he’s going to go see the baby, and tells her that she can’t keep avoiding the things that are important.  She asks him what he wants from her.  He just wants to help her.  She tells him that the only way he can help her is for him to leave her alone.

   Cliff is walking toward the hospital when Bobby gets there, he tells him that he told him to stay away.  Cliff tells Bobby that he wants Sue Ellen and the baby.  Bobby tells him that he’ll only cause Sue Ellen more problems, Cliff tells Bobby that he will get Sue Ellen and the baby anyway he can.  He tells Cliff that he and JR will get him if he tries anything.

Cliff goes back to his office and tells his co-worker that he’s going to make the Ewing’s give him everything that is rightfully his.

   Jock tells JR that he doesn’t want Willie Joe or Jeb to have anything to do with Ewing Oil, JR tells him not to worry about that.

   Pam asks Bobby if he’s mad at her, he tells her he’s sorry, he’s just had a bad couple days.  He tells her that the Barnes/Ewing feud makes it hard to be honest with each other.  He tells her that he sent Cliff away from the hospital, she tells him that Cliff wouldn’t do anything I remember her saying this before and she learned that her brother is just as bad as JR I guess she’s forgotten all about that.  Bobby tells her that if Cliff doesn’t stay away from Sue Ellen then he’ll tear him apart and he won’t be able to work in Dallas.  Bobby goes with Jock to take care of the cattle. 

   JR gets home and wants Sue Ellen to go with him to pick up the baby from the hospital, she tells him that she can’t go because she’s got a headache, Miss Ellie tells him to be patient with her when he follows her into the house.  In their room he tells her to get dressed and that he’s not fooled like everyone else it with her excuses.  He tells her that it’s time she started acting like a wife and mother, he goes to the closet and pulls out a bunch of clothes and tells her to get dressed or he'll do it for her.  

   When they get to the hospital there is a crowd about the hospital, reporters come over and start asking them questions, a detective comes over and takes them into the hospital where he tells them that the baby has been kidnapped, the doctor and nurse apologize telling JR and Sue Ellen that this has never happened before.  JR calls home and tells Miss Ellie that the baby had been kidnapped.

Final Thoughts:  This was a great episode to start the next season, you've got two choices about who kidnapped the baby, but I think it's pretty obvious who did do it and his initials are not C.B.  I doubt the change in JR's attitude will last that long.  It's interesting to hear Lucy say that her parents don't want her since they are remarried and living in California, "waiting" till they think they are ready to have her live with them, she won't know that they are remarried till the end of this season of Dallas, but will in the next episode of Knots Landing, Lucy isn't a child anymore she just graduated I highly doubt that she would really want to live with her parents even if she knew that they were back together. 

Best Outfit:  There weren't any really awful outfits, but this one of Pam's was the closest, she's got a scarf tied around her waist, in a previous scene you can see it on the side, it must have shifted or it's been redone in this shot.

Season 1 Episode 10

Air Date:  October 15, 1978 (1978-10-15)

RERecap:  It's Jock and Miss Ellie's anniversary, the family is giving them their gifts, Sue Ellen and JR (he doesn't know anything about this) a really ugly sculpture, while Bobby and Pam gave them a scrapbook full of family pictures.  Sue Ellen tells everyone that she and JR are going to start trying for a baby again, it's been seven years so pretty much Jock and Ellie have given up on them.  Bobby tells them that Pam went to the doctor and said that they can start trying for a baby again too. 
Later Pam tells Bobby she doesn't think she's ready for a baby yet, and that Liz has offered her a job at the store. 
Sue Ellen wants JR to come to bed, but he makes it clear to her that he's not interested in her at all and leaves after she tells him that she's had test done and there is nothing wrong with her so it must be him that is the problem.  Ray comes over to her and asks if he can do anything for her, she says yes and they go have sex. 
The next day Sue Ellen acts like it never happened.  Miss Ellie talks to Sue Ellen and tells her she should think about adoption, something Sue Ellen knows JR wouldn't approve of, but she goes to the adoption agency and tells the woman she wants a newborn, she tells her that they would have to wait three years for a baby, and she should think about adopting an older child.  After Sue Ellen leaves the woman calls and tells him that she's got someone he can help. 
Pam tells Bobby that she's going to met with Liz, Bobby doesn't want Pam to take the job, but she says that she wants to work. 
Cliff tells the man that got the phone call from the lady at the adoption agency that he is going to announce his candidacy soon.  Cliff wants to know why he's meeting with Sue Ellen, but he won't tell him, Cliff and Sue Ellen meet for the first time. 
They go into the restaurant and discuss the private adoption.  She tells him she wants to meet with the mother, he doesn't think she should but she insists.  She goes to the girls apartment and tells her that she'll get her a bigger place, and helps her move in.  They begin to bond when Sue Ellen finds out that they both were in pageants. 
Liz tells Pam she doesn't want to come between her and Bobby, but Pam tells her that it will be fine, Liz tells her that she's got the job.  At the store Pam runs into Sue Ellen who is shopping for the baby, she lies to Pam and tells her that it's for a friend.  But when Pam accidentally takes a phone call intended for Sue Ellen she realizes what Sue Ellen is doing. 
JR is having Sue Ellen followed after he hears about Sue Ellen renting an apartment from Lucy, and when Sue Ellen goes over to the apartment she finds it empty and when JR come she finds out that he sent the girl to California.  When they both are at home, he wants to know what's wrong her, she tells him that she's leaving.  After she hits him he grabs her and forces her to the bed, she keeps telling him that she doesn't want him, but he goes anyway. 
The next morning Bobby surprises Pam with a new car so she doesn't have to keep borrowing his when she starts her new job.  Watching the happy couple JR tells Sue Ellen that he is going to work late.  

Final Thoughts:  Good episode, but I don't think Sue Ellen really thought through her plan for adopting this baby.  The girl didn't seem to be very reliable, I imagine if everything went the way Sue Ellen wanted that one day that girl would have come back for that baby.  I also thought that that adoption agency was pretty shady as well, calling a guy who knew dealt with illegal baby adoptions.  Plus I would think that she would want to have both JR and Sue Ellen together, but I guess the Ewing money clouded her thinking.

Best Outfit:  I thought Pam had more fashion sense this looks like something Bea Arthur would have worn as Dorothy Zbornak The Golden Girls.

Season 1 Episode 5

Air Date: April 30 1978

Recap:  There's going to be a barbecue at the Ranch later and a lot of work is going on to get ready.  Pam is with Digger, who is going to go to the party.  She wants him to go to Southfork with her, so the family can get reacquainted, but he says that he'll come later.  Digger tells them that not only did Jock steal the oil away from him, he also stole Miss Ellie away.
 Pam goes back to the ranch, and calls the doctor, and finds out that she is pregnant.  She tells Bobby. 
The barbecue is is full swing, and Miss Ellie is circulating, when Digger and his nephew arrive she welcomes him and takes him on a tour of the ranch.   Bobby is telling everyone about the baby, that everyone but his parents.  They go to find them and give them the good news. 
Jock is drinking a lot, Bobby finds him and tells him that he and Pam have news that they want to share with them.  Miss Ellie tells Digger that she married Jock to save Southfork, but they have had a good marriage. 
Sue Ellen hears the new about Pam and Bobby's baby from Lucy, she goes to JR, and tells him about the baby, and goes off on him, telling him that if he had shown any interest in her that she would have given Jock the grandchild that he wants already.  Lucy sits down with Pam's cousin Jimmy and asks him a bunch of questions, he seems pretty dumb, so she leaves. 
Sue Ellen is drink a lot now and is sitting with a bunch of older ladies, she rambling and I think she's having a conversation with someone that exists in her mind.  It's really clear that these ladies are uncomfortable. 
Miss Ellie and Digger finally join Jock, Pam and Bobby, and they tell them the good news, everyone is happy, Digger asks if Pam is happy and she tells him yes.  Pam tells Jock that she wants her baby to have both grandfathers in their life, Digger makes the first move and they shake hands, and go for a drink, Digger says he's back on the wagon so he doesn't drink anything.  They talk about the baby and Digger doesn't want the baby to be spoiled by Jock.  He wants Jock to apologize to him about what he's done.  They start to argue, Pam and Miss Ellie try to get them to stop, and Jock tells them that he put the oil in his name only so Digger wouldn't drink all his money away and that he planned on giving him half.  Digger starts to drink and is soon drunk.  Bobby tells Jock that what he did was wrong. 
JR has been drinking a lot and is drunk as well.  Pam goes to find her cousin to take Digger home, she finds him in the barn with Lucy.  She stays behind to rest for a bit.  Sue Ellen is riding a horse and is joined by Bobby and JR.  Bobby hits JR after he makes a comment about Pam's past, Bobby takes Sue Ellen home, JR gets up and goes to the barn where he sees Pam.  He scares her and after a scuffle, she falls to the next level of the barn. 
Bobby is outside, he tells his parents that they lost the baby, and don't know yet if Pam can ever have anymore children.  JR comes out and tries to apologize telling him that it was an accident.
Bobby goes back to Pam and tell her that his family is to blame for this, and that they are going to leave.  Jock comes in and tells them that he believes JR that it was an accident, he tells Pam that he doesn't want to lose another son.  After he's gone Bobby asks her if it was really an accident, she says that it was, and that she wants to stay at Southfork. 
Outside JR is sitting at the patio table, Sue Ellen asks if he pushed Pam, he says he didn't, when she asks if he is sorry they lost the baby, he just looks at her. 
Final Thoughts:  This episode was so much better than the last one, there was some great drunk acting, Sue Ellen was great in this episode.
