Season 1 Episode 15

Air Date:  March 19, 1982

Recap:  Maggie gets off the phone and tells Chase that Julia will be able to come to the party, but Angela won’t be coming.  When Julia arrives later that night, she tells them that she is glad that they are speaking to each other again.  Carl arrives not long after Julia and congratulates Chase on his first six months at the vineyard.  He tells Chase he heard about him questioning the medical examiner, he tells him that he doesn’t want that to get in the way of what Chase is supposed to be doing in office.

   Emma walks over and watches the party through the window.  She starts dancing as she watches the party.

Angela comes home and is upset to see Lance sitting around.  She tells him to get back to work. 

   Chase looks outside and sees Emma, he goes out to her, she tells him that she’s having a great time, and then tells him that she is sorry about the night Jason died.  He asks her what happened, but before she can say anything Julia comes out and stops her.  When they are alone Emma tells Julia that she is going to stay at the party and if she doesn’t let her then she will tell Chase about his father. 

   Vicky and Cole are upstairs with their friends, they are all talking while drinking wine.  Cole’s friend Bill wants him and Melissa to go with them to the cabin, but Cole tell him that they got plans already.  They all go their separate ways, Cole and Melissa go to the Spring House.  Bill is going really fast, his girlfriend, Anna tells him to slow down.  But it’s too late and they crash.

   Cole asks Melissa why she is still seeing other guys, he tells her that he is falling in love with her, but she tells him that she isn’t ready to get emotionally involved.

   Maggie tells Chase that he should back off, but he tells her that he can’t he knows that Emma knows something.

   When Julia and Emma get home, Angela is upset that Julia let her go to the party, once Emma is upstairs Julia tells her that Emma blackmailed her into letting her stay.

   Carl comes over the next day and asks if Cole got home ok, since his son Bill hasn’t come home yet. 

   Angela tells Lance that he has to take Melissa to the Country Club Cotillion.  He tells her that he has plans already, but Angela won’t except it.

   Maggie gets a call from Anne’s mother, she hasn’t come home either, Chase goes upstairs to wake Cole up to see if he knows anything.

   Angela is with the sheriff, eh tells her that Case is asking the medical examiner questions.  He doesn’t want to lose his job since he helped her keep things quit.

   Vicky and Cole get to the cabin and find no one there, Vicky goes out to the pier and calls Cole, she sees Bill’s car.

   At Bill and Anne’s funeral, the priest reads a poem that Bill wrote, Cole can’t take it anymore and leaves the church, Melissa follows him outside.  She tries to convince him that it wasn’t his fault, but he won’t listen and drives off.

    Angela’s lawyer comes over and tells her that Chase will demand an inquest.  She asks him what he suggests she do.  He asks her what she thinks Chase wants, she says he wants the control of Falcon Crest.  He tells her that she should give it to him, at least make it seem like she will be giving it to him.  He says that he will draw up the papers and that Chase will forget he even had a father after he hears about this. 

   Maggie goes to check on Cole, she tells him that she wishes he would talk to her, but he tells her that he is fine and just wants to be alone.

   Chase tells Vicky that he feels responsible for Anne and Bill’s death, she tells him that she was with them too, and asks him is she is responsible.

   Julia goes to visits her father in the hospital.  He asks her about Emma, she tells him that she is doing fine.  He tells her not to worry about him he will be fine.

   Melissa is at her doctor’s office, she tells Melissa that she is pregnant.  Melissa asks her how far along she is, and the doctor tells her the best she can say is about 6-8 weeks.  She asks her if she will tell the father, Melissa doesn’t say anything, which makes the doctor ask her if she knows who the father is.

   Angela’s lawyer goes to see Chase, he tells him that his father’s death was just an accident.

   Cole and Melissa are out driving, he is going to fast and Melissa tells him to slow down.  They fight and she walks home.

   Angela’s lawyer goes back to Angela and tells her that Chase doesn’t want Falcon Crest and that now he is even more suspicious.

   Chase finds Cole chopping wood, He talks to Cole about his time in the war.  Cole tells him that he is responsible for Bill’s death.

   Emma comes into the winery and asks Lance if he is mad at her because she killed Uncle Jason.  She tells him that she pushed him and he fell.  Lance asks if Angela knows, Emma tells him that she does.

   Chase and Cole go over to Carl’s house, he tells him that they want to talk.  He tells them that he is fine, Cole tells him he’s not, and tells him that Bill wanted him to go with him to the cabin, but he told him that he had plans.  Carl tells him that no one could have prevented it, and that it isn’t his fault Bill was drinking and it just happened.  Carl tells Chase that he will take some time off, he tell Carl that they will keep an eye on his place for him.

   Lance goes into the house and tells Angela that Emma told him everything, he doesn’t want to work in the fields anymore.  She tells him that he can’t blackmail her, she says that she is going to put his inheritance in a trust and the only way he will be able to get it is if marries Melissa, and he’s got 90 days to do it.
Final Thoughts:  I liked this episode since it didn't focus so much on the Emma storyline so much, I liked the part when Chase caught Emma dancing outside while watching them party.

Best Outfit:  I couldn't find anything really bad in this episode, I thought that the collar was the worst thing about this outfit, that and the pants, but I couldn't get a good picture of them.

Season 2 Episode 15

Air Date:  February 24, 1982

Recap:  Blake is sitting up in bed when Krystle comes back into the bedroom, he asks her where she was, she tells him that she was in the library.  He asks her what’s wrong, she tells him that even though they are back together they are still emotionally apart.  He tells her that he is just so concerned with getting even with Rhinewood, he just didn’t want her to get involved.  Krystle says that she just wants to be his wife and wants him to be a husband.

  The next morning Joesph brings Krystle a box that was delivered.  She says she didn’t order anything and opens the box it’s the mink coat that Sammy Joe ordered.  Krystle asks Joesph to get Sammy Joe.

  Steven and Fallon are in the gym working out.  He tells her that things aren’t working out living here, and that since no one likes Sammy Joe they are going to leave.  Fallon doesn’t want him to go, and tells him that she will try to get to know her.

   Sammy Joe joins her aunt in the library and Krystle asks her about the coat, she asks who she thinks Is going to pay for the coat since Steven has no money, and Sammy Joe tells her that Blake will.  Krystle tells her that they are returning the coat, and if she needs something that she needs to ask her.  Sammy Joe goes upstairs looking for Steven, she goes into Fallon’s room and goes through her jewelry box and takes out a necklace.

   Fallon tells Alexis that she wants to throw a party for Steven and Sammy Joe, Alexis tells her that she is crazy for doing it., but agrees anyway.  Fallon tells her that Nick doesn’t love Krystle anymore and that the wants to be with her.  Fallon tells Blake about the party and he agrees.  She tells him that she knows that he doesn’t lie Alexis anymore, but she is glad that they loved each other at one time so that they could have her.  She notices a change in Blake and asks him what’s wrong, he covers this by telling her it’s because he can’t see her.  He asks her to invite Nick to the party since he saved Steven’s life.

   Alexis is giving directions to a servant on arrangements for the party when Krystle walks in, she asks her what she’s doing .  Alexis tells her about the party, which no one told Krystle about.  Krystle tells Alexis that she has no intention of helping with the party, when Alexis asks what Blake will say when she tells him,   Krystle tells her to tell him, and that she is going to keep fighting Alexis, like she is fighting with her.

   Cecil is waiting for Blake in his office, Blake asks him what he wants, Cecil asks him what he thinks he’s doing trying to adopt Jeff, and take away his birthright.  First he took him away from ColbyCo and now he wants to take his name away.  Blake tells him that it was Jeff’s choice to work at Denver Carrington and this will also be Jeff’s decision.  Cecil tells him he wishes that Blake could see, so that he could look him eye to eye and “beat the hell out of him”

   Cecil is in Alexis’ cottage when she gets home, he tells her that he needs her help since he helped her reunite Blake and Steven, he tells her that he wants her to help him with Jeff, and tells her that if Blake does adopt him then her children’s inheritance would be effected.  She agrees to help, but tells him that she doesn’t think Jeff would accept Blake’s offer.

   At the hospital the doctor tells Nick that there was a discrepancy with what he told him and what his records say about the real reason he switched to psychiatry.  Nick tells him that what he read is true he lost a patient on the table in Vietnam and blamed himself.  He just wants to know if there is a job there for him or not.  There is  an opening and he is hired.

   Cecil is getting dresses and asks Alexis who is drinking champagne, if what she told him about Fallon is the truth.

   At the mansion the staff is doing the final touches to the house to prepare for the party.  Everyone is getting dressed, Steven tells Sammy Joe that she looks great, she looks like she’s a little girl in that dress, and to me she doesn’t look too happy about it either.  Krystle goes over to Blake and asks him if he needs any help, she asks him if he’s going to spend the whole evening on Joesph’s arm, he tells her that they will be greeting their guests together then she can do what ever she wants.

   Jeff walks in to Fallon’s room to get his cuff links while Fallon is looking for her necklace,  She tells him that she is grateful for what he told Blake about their marriage, he realizes that she is in love.  He asks her if the man she loves loves her.  She tells him that he’s not going to spoil the party for her.

   As Nick is getting ready the doctor from calls him and tells him that there was an emergency and asks him If he could come help, Nick tells him that he is no longer a surgeon, but the doctor tells him that they need him, Nick tells him that he’ll be right over.

   The party is in full swing, but when Fallon finds Steven he tells her that Sammy Joe still hasn’t come downstairs.  She tells him that she’s proud to be a Carrington, and like every other time she says something like this Steven starts to act funny, she asks him again why he always does that when she talks about being a Carrington, and as usually he manages to get out of answering her question.  Just then Alexis arrives and her date is Cecil Colby, Fallon runs over to Blake and tells him who has crashed the party..  Alexis goes over to talk to Blake about Cecil coming and makes a jib at Krystle saying she was too busy to suggest inviting   Cecil to the party because she was getting ready for the party.  Fallon asks Joesph if he’s seen Nick yet.  Claudia arrives and goes to talk to Steven, she tells him that she is happy for him.  Sammy Joe finally comes downstairs, she is not wearing the dress from earlier, Fallon sees her necklace.

   Cecil goes to Claudia and tells her that the copies she made weren’t what he needed, she tells him she can’t get to what he needs, Jeff has them locked away.  He tells her that Jeff isn’t happily married and she should find away to get a copy of them.

   Fallon comes over to Nick when he finally get s to the party, she asks him where he’s been, he tells her that he wants to talk to her, so they go to the library.  He tells her that he helped with a surgery and he feels great.  He asks her what’s wrong, she tells him that Jeff told her that the man in her life doesn’t want to marry her.  Nick asks her to be patient with him, she asks if he loves her and he tells her that she is the only woman in his life, when they kiss Jeff walks in.  He tells them that he didn’t expect that it would be him.    After Jeff leaves Nick tells Fallon that he is sorry, but she says that Jeff had to find out sooner or later.     When they leave the room, Krystle gets up from the chair.

   Sammy Joe has the band play something faster for her so she can dance, Alexis doesn’t look pleased to see her dancing, she goes over to her and tells her to act like  a lady and not to embarrass Steven.

   Claudia sees Jeff go outside, she follows him, he asks  her if she would like to go the St. Dennis Club for a drink.

   Blake watches as Nick talks to Krystle.  They go outside, she asks him what he wants, Nick tells her that he can’t forget about her, Blake is hiding in the bushes listening to them.  Krystle tells Nick that she is glad that she never let him touch her and that she loves Blake.  She tells him that he needs to be careful with Fallon. 

   Fallon pulls Sammy Joe into the library and asks her about the necklace calling her a thief.  Sammy Joe says she only borrowed it because no one gives her anything.  Fallon tells her that she is worthless and doesn’t deserve to be in the family.  Sammy Joe finally drops the bombshell that everyone has been tiptoeing around, she tells Fallon that she isn’t a Carrington and that she is a bastard.  Fallon calls her a liar, and Sammy Joe tells her if she doesn’t believe her then she should asks her mother.

   Blake walks into the bedroom, and asks Krystle if she is ok.  She realizes that he walked into the room by himself and that he can see, he tells her that it just happened, and wanted to tell her himself.

   Fallon is crying in the library when Joesph goes into the library to tell her the news, he never tells her when he sees she is upset, she asks him where her mother is.  Fallon tells Alexis that she needs to talk to her. 

   Fallon is driving very fast and Alexis is trying to get her to slow down, Fallon asks her if Blake is her father, Alexis tells her she can’t tell her, Fallon won’t take that for an answer Alexis tells her that he could be her father, or it could also be Cecil.  Fallon isn’t looking at the road and drives off the road threw some road construction.  After the crash Fallon is unconscious, Alexis tries to wake he r up, she gets out of the car and runs for help.
Final Thoughts:   I'm glad that the storyline with Nick and Krystle is over with, and that Blake can "see" again, and now that the secret is out about Fallon, I can't wait to see what happens next.
Best Outfit:  This dress makes her look like she's 13.  No wonder why she is drinking.

Season 1 Episode 13

Air Date:  April 20, 1981   

Recap:  At the courthouse Fallon pulls Steven aside, she wants to know why he said those things on the witness stand.  She tells him that he's just as much to blame for Ted's death as Blake.
   Blake tells Andrew that he wants to take the stand, but he doesn't think that's a good idea. 
   Jeff asks Fallon if she lied.  She says no, but is she doesn't he understand why she did.  Jeff tells her that Blake is right, she's lost her brother. 
   The prosecution rests their case and it's now Andrew's turn.  He calls Joseph to the stand, he says that Blake didn't say that he would kill him, but that he said he would get him.  When the prosecutor questions him he tries to make him an incredible witness by bring up his hearing problem, but Joseph hears him when he whispers, so the point goes to the defence there. 
   It's Krystle's turn on the stand, she tell them that Blake gets made, but is never violent.
   The next witness is one that Andrew doesn't want on the stand, he thinks she isn't credible, but Blake wants him to call her.  It's the girl from the bordello.  Andrew tells someone to stand by that he might have to subpoena Claudia.  The girl says that she and Steven had sex the day he came, and that he came back to see her again.  The prosecutor asks if she's a prostitute.
   Andrew sends him to subpoena Claudia, she calls Matthew and says that she loves him and that she knows that she's always been a problem, she hangs up.  He leaves and rushes home, probably thinking she killed herself.  The prosecutor calls Matthew and tells him Claudia was subpoenaed.  Matthew goes to the courthouse. 
   Blake isn't happy when he finds out that Claudia will be taking the stand, but he lets it go.  She tells the court about Ted coming to see her, and that she didn't think Steven go back with him.  Andrew wants her to admit her affair.  Steven jumps up and tell them to leave her alone, the judge orders him to be quiet.  As Claudia admits sleeping with Steven, Matthew comes into the courtroom.  He comes forward and into the area, where the lawyers are, the judge orders him to take a set and sends the bailiffs to escort him out.  He hits a bailiff and attacks Blake, he is arrested and taken from the courtroom.
   When Lindsay gets home, Claudia has things packed and she tells her that they are getting away.  Lindsay wants to know wants going on, but she tells her just to know that she's doing the right thing.
   Court has resumed and Andrew doesn't want to put Blake on the stand, but finally agrees.  Blake tells the court that he doesn't remember if he said kill or get him.  He goes through what happened, he tells them that he was confused, and that he didn't want Ted dead. 
   The defense rest, the prosecution says that they have one rebuttal witness, but they haven't arrived yet.
  Claudia and Lindsay get into a car accident.  Matthew is told about the accident and is released so he can go to the hospital. 
   The court is still waiting for the witness and the judge says that they can't wait all day, just then they get word that the witness has arrived.  A lady walks into the court room in a large hat and big sunglasses.  We get a shot of everyone with a dramatic pause as everyone reacts when they see who this witness is.  It's Blake's ex-wife.  This is the cliffhanger to season one.

Final Thoughts:   This was a great season finale episode, it had a great cliffhanger.  Why is Blake's ex testifying against him, and are Claudia and Lindsay ok?  I think that this might be the end of the Blaisdales, which I can't say is a bad thing.  Will have to wait to see what happens next.

Best Outfit:  It looks like she tried to look her best for court doesn't it.
