The Party

Dynasty
Season 2 Episode 15
Air Date:  February 24, 1982

Recap:  Blake is sitting up in bed when Krystle comes back into the bedroom, he asks her where she was, she tells him that she was in the library.  He asks her what’s wrong, she tells him that even though they are back together they are still emotionally apart.  He tells her that he is just so concerned with getting even with Rhinewood, he just didn’t want her to get involved.  Krystle says that she just wants to be his wife and wants him to be a husband.
The next morning Joesph brings Krystle a box that was delivered.  She says she didn’t order anything and opens the box it’s the mink coat that Sammy Joe ordered.  Krystle asks Joesph to get Sammy Joe.
Steven and Fallon are in the gym working out.  He tells her that things aren’t working out living here, and that since no one likes Sammy Joe they are going to leave.  Fallon doesn’t want him to go, and tells him that she will try to get to know her.
Sammy Joe joins her aunt in the library and Krystle asks her about the coat, she asks who she thinks Is going to pay for the coat since Steven has no money, and Sammy Joe tells her that Blake will.  Krystle tells her that they are returning the coat, and if she needs something that she needs to ask her.  Sammy Joe goes upstairs looking for Steven, she goes into Fallon’s room and goes through her jewelry box and takes out a necklace.
Fallon tells Alexis that she wants to throw a party for Steven and Sammy Joe, Alexis tells her that she is crazy for doing it., but agrees anyway.  Fallon tells her that Nick doesn’t love Krystle anymore and that the wants to be with her.  Fallon tells Blake about the party and he agrees.  She tells him that she knows that he doesn’t lie Alexis anymore, but she is glad that they loved each other at one time so that they could have her.  She notices a change in Blake and asks him what’s wrong, he covers this by telling her it’s because he can’t see her.  He asks her to invite Nick to the party since he saved Steven’s life.
Alexis is giving directions to a servant on arrangements for the party when Krystle walks in, she asks her what she’s doing .  Alexis tells her about the party, which no one told Krystle about.  Krystle tells Alexis that she has no intention of helping with the party, when Alexis asks what Blake will say when she tells him,   Krystle tells her to tell him, and that she is going to keep fighting Alexis, like she is fighting with her.
Cecil is waiting for Blake in his office, Blake asks him what he wants, Cecil asks him what he thinks he’s doing trying to adopt Jeff, and take away his birthright.  First he took him away from ColbyCo and now he wants to take his name away.  Blake tells him that it was Jeff’s choice to work at Denver Carrington and this will also be Jeff’s decision.  Cecil tells him he wishes that Blake could see, so that he could look him eye to eye and “beat the hell out of him”
Cecil is in Alexis’ cottage when she gets home, he tells her that he needs her help since he helped her reunite Blake and Steven, he tells her that he wants her to help him with Jeff, and tells her that if Blake does adopt him then her children’s inheritance would be effected.  She agrees to help, but tells him that she doesn’t think Jeff would accept Blake’s offer.
At the hospital the doctor tells Nick that there was a discrepancy with what he told him and what his records say about the real reason he switched to psychiatry.  Nick tells him that what he read is true he lost a patient on the table in Vietnam and blamed himself.  He just wants to know if there is a job there for him or not.  There is  an opening and he is hired.
Cecil is getting dresses and asks Alexis who is drinking champagne, if what she told him about Fallon is the truth.
At the mansion the staff is doing the final touches to the house to prepare for the party.  Everyone is getting dressed, Steven tells Sammy Joe that she looks great, she looks like she’s a little girl in that dress, and to me she doesn’t look too happy about it either.  Krystle goes over to Blake and asks him if he needs any help, she asks him if he’s going to spend the whole evening on Joesph’s arm, he tells her that they will be greeting their guests together then she can do what ever she wants.
Jeff walks in to Fallon’s room to get his cuff links while Fallon is looking for her necklace,  She tells him that she is grateful for what he told Blake about their marriage, he realizes that she is in love.  He asks her if the man she loves loves her.  She tells him that he’s not going to spoil the party for her.
As Nick is getting ready the doctor from calls him and tells him that there was an emergency and asks him If he could come help, Nick tells him that he is no longer a surgeon, but the doctor tells him that they need him, Nick tells him that he’ll be right over.
The party is in full swing, but when Fallon finds Steven he tells her that Sammy Joe still hasn’t come downstairs.  She tells him that she’s proud to be a Carrington, and like every other time she says something like this Steven starts to act funny, she asks him again why he always does that when she talks about being a Carrington, and as usually he manages to get out of answering her question.  Just then Alexis arrives and her date is Cecil Colby, Fallon runs over to Blake and tells him who has crashed the party..  Alexis goes over to talk to Blake about Cecil coming and makes a jib at Krystle saying she was too busy to suggest inviting   Cecil to the party because she was getting ready for the party.  Fallon asks Joesph if he’s seen Nick yet.  Claudia arrives and goes to talk to Steven, she tells him that she is happy for him.  Sammy Joe finally comes downstairs, she is not wearing the dress from earlier, Fallon sees her necklace.
Cecil goes to Claudia and tells her that the copies she made weren’t what he needed, she tells him she can’t get to what he needs, Jeff has them locked away.  He tells her that Jeff isn’t happily married and she should find away to get a copy of them.
Fallon comes over to Nick when he finally get s to the party, she asks him where he’s been, he tells her that he wants to talk to her, so they go to the library.  He tells her that he helped with a surgery and he feels great.  He asks her what’s wrong, she tells him that Jeff told her that the man in her life doesn’t want to marry her.  Nick asks her to be patient with him, she asks if he loves her and he tells her that she is the only woman in his life, when they kiss Jeff walks in.  He tells them that he didn’t expect that it would be him.    After Jeff leaves Nick tells Fallon that he is sorry, but she says that Jeff had to find out sooner or later.     When they leave the room, Krystle gets up from the chair.
Sammy Joe has the band play something faster for her so she can dance, Alexis doesn’t look pleased to see her dancing, she goes over to her and tells her to act like  a lady and not to embarrass Steven.
Claudia sees Jeff go outside, she follows him, he asks  her if she would like to go the St. Dennis Club for a drink.
Blake watches as Nick talks to Krystle.  They go outside, she asks him what he wants, Nick tells her that he can’t forget about her, Blake is hiding in the bushes listening to them.  Krystle tells Nick that she is glad that she never let him touch her and that she loves Blake.  She tells him that he needs to be careful with Fallon.
Fallon pulls Sammy Joe into the library and asks her about the necklace calling her a thief.  Sammy Joe says she only borrowed it because no one gives her anything.  Fallon tells her that she is worthless and doesn’t deserve to be in the family.  Sammy Joe finally drops the bombshell that everyone has been tiptoeing around, she tells Fallon that she isn’t a Carrington and that she is a bastard.  Fallon calls her a liar, and Sammy Joe tells her if she doesn’t believe her then she should asks her mother.
Blake walks into the bedroom, and asks Krystle if she is ok.  She realizes that he walked into the room by himself and that he can see, he tells her that it just happened, and wanted to tell her himself.
Fallon is crying in the library when Joesph goes into the library to tell her the news, he never tells her when he sees she is upset, she asks him where her mother is.  Fallon tells Alexis that she needs to talk to her.
Fallon is driving very fast and Alexis is trying to get her to slow down, Fallon asks her if Blake is her father, Alexis tells her she can’t tell her, Fallon won’t take that for an answer Alexis tells her that he could be her father, or it could also be Cecil.  Fallon isn’t looking at the road and drives off the road threw some road construction.  After the crash Fallon is unconscious, Alexis tries to wake he r up, she gets out of the car and runs for help.
Final Thoughts:   I'm glad that the storyline with Nick and Krystle is over with, and that Blake can "see" again, and now that the secret is out about Fallon, I can't wait to see what happens next.
Best Outfit:  This dress makes her look like she's 13.  No wonder why she is drinking.

Home Is for Healing

Knots Landing
Season 1 Episode
Air Date:  January 31, 1980

Recap:  Gary and Val are getting ready for bed, she goes and changes her nightgown to black lingerie, he asks her why she did that, which is something I can’t imagine any man really saying, she goes back and changes into the nightgown.  The phone rings interrupting them from getting any further than kissing.  It’s Bobby, he tells them that Lucy found out about them getting remarried.  Val tells him that she will come out and talk to her.  Gary wants to go with her, but she tells him that it would be best if she went alone to bring Lucy back to California.
Val finds Lucy at school, Lucy tells her that she doesn’t have anything to say to her, she walks off to her car.  Val tells her that they were just trying to be careful, Lucy asks why she was the only one at Southfork not to know about their remarriage.
Karen comes to the car dealership and asks Gary where Val is, they were supposed to go out that afternoon, he tells her about how Lucy found out about them.  Sid comes out from the garage and he and Karen go to lunch Gary goes back to his cubical and waits for Val to call.
Lucy and Val go for a walk and Val tells her that they couldn’t live apart any longer.  Lucy thinks that it’s Gary who doesn’t want her, but Val tells her that he just wanted to be sure that they would make it, because they knew how much it would hurt her if things didn’t work out.
Gary gets a call from Val and he tells Sid that Lucy is coming for her vacation, then she will go back to Dallas to finish the year at school then she will move out in the summer.
Ginger comes over as Karen and Diana are cutting roses for Val and Lucy, she tells Karen that she followed her advice and told Kenny that they need to spend more time together and he can’t go to parties every night.
The family arrives and Val introduces Lucy to Karen, Diana, and Ginger.  They go into the house and take Lucy up to her room, she really loves it, especially the dolls her mother saved for her.  Val tells Lucy that she really feels like this is home now that she is here.  Gary is at the doorway, and he turns around and leaves the house.  Karen is driving home as he is walking down the street, she tells him that everything will work out.
Val asks Gary what’s wrong, she tells him that they just need to give it sometime, they’ve spent a long time apart and everyone needs to get to know each other again.  Kenny and Ginger come over and he invites them to his latest party, he tells Lucy he can introduce her to a famous band, she thinks it’s a great idea, but they already have plans, they are going to Marine Land with the Avery’s and the Fairgate’s.  Ginger doesn’t look to pleased with Kenny.   After they go Lucy goes upstairs to go to bed, Gary asks Val if Lucy should go to the party so she can be with kids her own age, Val says that Lucy wants to be with them.
At their house Ginger is mad that Kenny is having the party at their house and it’s the night that they were supposed to go out, he tells her that they’ll do it next weekend.
Val and Lucy went shopping, Gary tells Lucy that she needs to stop using her credit cards, and spending her grandfather’s money, she needs to start learning to live on the income he makes.  Lucy gets upset with him for trying to teach her things that he should have taught her when she was younger, she goes upstairs.  Val tells him not to be so hard on her.  He goes to her room and apologizes, he tells her that they need to be able to talk to each other, so that they can make up for all the lost years.  She tells him that she wants to be alone.
Yes that's better, the second button definitely shows off my hot body
I know I look good but something is missing

Kenny is getting ready for the party, he checks himself out and decides that he needs to unbutton his shirt two buttons to many.  He comes out to the living room and sees that Ginger is still wearing the same clothes.  She tells him that she’s had it with his parties, and leaves the house.  She waits outside, he looks at the door, like he’s thinking of following her, but he goes over to the stereo and turns on the music.
Lucy comes downstairs and tells Val that she isn’t going with them after all but will be going to Kenny’s party.  Val asks Gary what he said to her.
Lucy is having a great time, she’s dancing with the whole band.  Kenny is talking to a girl, she is flirting with him, she’s noticed that Ginger isn’t at the party, and she tells him that she thinks he likes it when she’s there so he can sneak around.  Richard, Sid and Karen all stop by.  Sid and Karen feel really old and out of place, but Richard thinks that he’s in his element.  He tries to introduce himself to Lucy, but she is off with the band.
Gary and Val are arguing about Lucy, he suggests that they go over to the party, but Val says that she would feel out of place.
Back at the party the girl that was talking to Kenny is now singing, Kenny is making phone calls looking for Ginger, when the song is over he tells her that she is great, she’s really humble and tells him that she knows.  She asks him to come back to her house, but he tells her that he can’t leave the party, she says that his neighbor can handle things Richard, which I would think could lead to a lot of problems.  But Ginger comes home, he follows her, she goes to their room and tells a couple to get out, Gary shows up and asks where Lucy is Richard tells him that she left with the band, he asks them how they could let her go, they tell him that she’s not a child.  In their room Kenny tries to make it up to Ginger, he tells her that he will give up the opening that’s the next night for missing their date, but she tells him she can’t let him do that since that is really work, and that the next weekend it fine.
The next morning Lucy gets home, Gary wakes Val up who was sleeping on the couch, they ask her where she was, and that they were worried because she didn’t call, and that if they are going to live together then that she will have to call.  Lucy tells them that they won’t be living together, she goes upstairs to pack, Val follows her.  She tells Val that it’s too late, but she wants her to come back to Dallas with her.  Val doesn’t want to leave Gary, but she agrees to go back with her.
Gary doesn’t want Val to leave him, but she tells him that if she lets Lucy go alone then things will never be right.  Outside Lucy is waiting for her mother when Laura jogs by, she introduces herself, she tells her that her parents talk about her all the time, and how close she and Val have gotten.  She tells Lucy that she just loves her parents story about how they spent so many years apart and just got back together, thanks to her.  She tells her how much they love each other.  Val and Gary come outside, Val tells Laura that she’s taking Lucy back to Dallas, she asks her how long she will be gone, Val hugs her and tells her that she’s sorry.  Gary begs Val not to leave him.
On the way to the airport, Val stops at the beach, she tells Lucy that she comes there all the time.
Gary goes over to Sid’s, and tells him what happened, he tells him that he couldn’t admit his weakness, Sid tells him that he needs to go and make things right, and that the past is just the past.
Lucy and Val are walking along the beach, she asks her mother what she is thinking.  Val tells her that she is thinking that she shouldn’t go with Lucy, she tells her that soon she’ll have a family of her own, and that this was all very hard for Gary.  Suddenly he is there, he tells Lucy that he wants her to stay, and that he should have told her not to use the credit cards because how it made him feel.  He tells her that he’s not a loser anymore, he’s working and he’s not drinking or gambling anymore, he’s facing every day.  Lucy stops him and tells him that she gets it, and that they all really need to get to know each other.  He asks her to stay for the rest of her vacation.  Val wants them all to run into the ocean, Lucy doesn’t want to because it’s cold, but she follows her parents and they run hand in hand in the ocean.
Final Thought:  I'm glad that they finally got Lucy in California, I don't think she would have really fit into the show, so I'm glad this is the only time she shows up on the show. I'm pretty sure that something would have happened between her and Kenny if she had stayed.  It was a bit gross when Richard was trying to introduce himself to her.

Best Outfit:  Lucy is wearing her Heidi dress.
Fight Count:  1 (Ginger vs Kenny)

Will the Circle Be Unbroken

Knots Landing
Season 1 Episode 5
Air Date:  January 25, 1980

Recap:  Val’s mother is at her door, but she isn’t home.  Karen comes over and introduces herself.  She tells her that she can wait for Val at her house.   Lilimae says she can’t find her wallet, and Karen pays the cabbie I’m positive that she just doesn’t have any money.  Lilimae asks if Lucy is living with Val, Karen tells her no that she should know that, Lilimae says of course she forgot.  Lilimae takes out her auto harp and begins to sing for her.
Ginger and Val are driving home, she asks if they are going to be bringing Lucy out soon, Val tells her that she’s ready, but Gary isn’t yet, but she’s working on it.
At Karen’s all the kids are listening to the song, they think it’s great.  Karen suggest that they all have dinner at her place.  When Val gets home, Karen’s son Mike tells her to come over that they have a surprise for her.  She is surprised alright, she asks her mother what she’s doing here, she doesn’t seem to happy to see her mother.
At dinner, everyone seems pretty happy, except for Val, she excuse herself and goes to the kitchen, she remembers a time when her mother left her and her father to go on tour.  Karen comes in and asks what’s wrong.
When they get home Val goes upstairs to get the room ready for Lilimae, Gary takes the suitcase upstairs and asks her what she’s doing, and if she really dislikes her mother that much.  Val tells him that they need to find out what her mother wants, give it to her and send her on her way.  She comes back downstairs and tells them that she’s tired and is going to bed, she lies in bed listening to her mother singing to Gary.  She remembers the time after her father died and her mother sent her to her grandmothers, so she could go on tour again.  She goes downstairs and demands to know why she is here.  Lilimae says that she came to see her, and that she’s also waiting on a call from her new manager.  Val dreams about the time she went to her mother for help, but she sent her off, and JR’s men took Lucy from her.  She wakes up screaming, and Gary tells her that the visit will be longer than a few days, Val tells him that she’ll deal with it tomorrow then.  In her room Lilimae takes out a large rag doll and says that she brought it to help Val, and that she is planning on staying awhile, she says to herself that she will paint the room blue.
Gary finds Val making fritters, she tells him that she’s going to keep busy, and that she is going to have the neighbors over for coffee and dessert.  Laura comes over and asks her how long her mother is going to stay,  Val asks Laura if she sees her mother often, Laura tells her that her mother died when she was younger Laura told Val about that in the last episode
Lilimae tells Val that she can’t serve the fritters to her neighbors, they are too country to the city folks, so she convinces her to make something else.  They taste it and Val thinks it’s gross, but Lilimae tells her that the neighbors will like it because that is what they are used to.
Sid takes a spoonful of whatever it was they made and makes a face, he goes over to Gary and asks him what he’s eating her tells him the fritters are in the kitchen but to be subtle.  Sid passes Richard who just came out of the bathroom, he got rid of his too.  Kenny tries it and makes face and puts it down as fast as he can.  Lilimae suggest that they all sing, then she starts to talk about how Val never understood her dreams, Val gets upset and tells her that she doesn’t want to talk about it, and she goes to the kitchen.  She remembers her dream and we get to hear that Lilimae sent her away because she had her latest manager over and she didn’t want him to know she was a grandmother, so she sent Val off and that was how JR’s men got Lucy.  Val cries out, and Gary goes to her, everyone else follows and stands at the doorway.  Val screams at her mother that she hates her and that Lilimae turned her and Lucy away when she needed her mother.
Gary comes back to the kitchen and tells Val that everyone went home, she tells him how sorry she is, he tells her that he knows she tried.
Diana finds her mother sitting on the sofa, she asks how the evening was Karen tells her that Val and her mother had a scene.  Diana tells her that she hopes that nothing ever comes between them.  They hug and she goes to bed, Karen calls her mother so see how she is doing.
Val goes to her mother and apologizes, she tells her that she doesn’t hate her, she only hates what she did.     Lilimae tells her that she didn’t know that it happened, Val tells her that she tried to tell her, she tells Val that she’s got nowhere else to go, no money nothing.  Val leaves her.  Later Lilimae comes downstairs and tells them that she will leave in the morning.  Before going back upstairs she says that Val would have forgiven her if she had become famous.  In their bed Val tells Gary that she’s wrong all she wanted was a mother.  Val goes to her mother’s room and rests her head on her lap.
The next morning Lilimae tells Val that her manager called and has an opportunity for her, she is really going to make it this time.  Val wants to take her to the airport, but she tells her that she’ll take the cab.  Val says goodbye and watches the cab drive away.  She goes to the room and sees that her mother left the doll, she picks it up and hugs it to her and sings.
Final Thoughts:   The whole scene of the party was hilarious, I want to know what they were making, it must have been a hard recipe, if I remember correctly they didn't even have all the ingredients, I bet Val used them all up for the dozen batches of the fritters she made.  I like that her mother was planning on staying, without even asking if she could, you got to love relatives who don't know when they aren't wanted.  Lilimae needs to get to reality, she needs to realize that she will never become a famous singer, it was clear that this was what bothered Val so much about her past as well as her mother closing the door on her own daughter, if she didn't want that manger to know she was a grandmother, then she should have just lied to him and said that Val was her sister or a friend.  And that song Lilimae sings throughout the whole show is really annoying I can still hear it in my head days later.
Best Outfit:  Ugly top and an ugly pattern on that skirt.
Fight Count: 1 (Val vs Lilimae)

Triangle

Dallas
Season 1 Episode 16
Air Date:  November 26, 1978

Recap:  Lucy and her date Joe are with Pam and Bobby at The Mustang Club, they are listening to a singer.  Lucy thinks she’s great, and is surprised that Pam has heard her before.  They see her with Ray and go over to meet her.  Her name is Garnet McGee.  After Garnet and Ray go to dance, Lucy and Joe leave, from the look on her face, she looks jealous.  Pam doesn’t like Garnet and tells Bobby that she is and always was an opportunist.
At Garnet’s apartment, Ray is in her pull out sofa bed, and he is telling her about working on Southfork Ranch.  He tells her that he loves her, she doesn’t reciprocate the sentiment, and talk to him about her ambitions.
Lucy tells the family over dinner that she wants to be a singer.  JR and Jock put there foot down and that she won’t embarrass the family by making a spectacle of herself.
Bobby and Pam talk about Ray and Garnet, he tells Pam that she needs to stay out of Ray’s business, she tells him that she’s known him for so long that she can’t help it.
At Bobby’s party Ray brings Garnet as his guest.  Bobby asks her to dance, leaving Ray with Lucy, she wants to dance with him, but Jock calls him over.
Pam and Garnet find Pam, Miss Ellie takes Bobby away to talk to a guest, and Garnet tells Pam she made it good marring Bobby.  Pam realizes that Garnet is just using Ray till something better comes along.
Ray brings Jock over and introduces him to Garnet, they go and dance.  JR notices her and asks Lucy who she is.  She tells him she’s with Ray, so JR goes to Ray and tells him that he would like to meet her.  Ray tells him that it’s not like that, he loves this one.
JR cut in and dances with Garnet, Ray doesn’t look happy about this.
The next morning Ray runs in to Lucy and tells him that she and JR don’t like him seeing Garnet.
Jock tells Ray that he’s impressed with his girl, and what his plans are.  Ray tells him that he wants to ask her to marry him, Jock wants to know if he’ll leave Southfork.  Ray says that he doesn’t think so.  Jock gives him land on Southfork, for his 20th anniversary working on the ranch.
JR and Garnet are having lunch together, it looks like something better came along.  He drives her back to her apartment, and he wants to know if she’s going to invite him in, she doesn’t.
At the club Ray is watching Garnet singing (this song is so much worse than the first, it’s really screechy.  It would have been a good idea to get someone who could sing) JR is also there.
JR works things so that Jock will send Ray to Odessa to buy a bull.  Lucy knows that JR is up to something.
Ray stops by Garnet’s to tell her he has to go out of town, he wants her to come with him, so they can get married.  She tells him that she has to get her career going before she’ll get married, she reminds him when he asks if she doesn’t want to marry him.  She tells him to go to Odessa but to hurry back.
Garnet goes to JR’s office, she knows that he arranged that last minute trip of Ray’s.  JR tells her that he’s going to help her with a career.  He wants 25% and exclusive rights to her whenever he wants.  She comes back with 10% and he agrees.  As she is leaving the office, Bobby is coming out of his, he asks the secretary if that was Garnet.
Ray is with the man JR said wanted to sell the bull, he has no idea where that rumor started, but the bull isn’t for sale.  Ray knows exactly what happened, and goes back home.
Lucy goes to JR’s office and finds the “exclusive agreement’ contract, when JR returns to his office she tries to get him to help her with her dreams of becoming a singer.  He tells her he won’t help her, and when she tells him she’ll show Jock, Sue Ellen, and Ray that contract, he asks her if she’s blackmailing him, and tells her she’s a tramp just like her mother.
JR goes to Garnet’s apartment with the contract.
At Southfork, Miss Ellie goes into Sue Ellen’s room and asks where JR is, she tells her that he’s probably not coming home tonight since there’s some guy in town.  Miss Ellie tells her that JR is very lucky to have such an understanding wife.
Garnet and JR are playing cards in bed, she wins that hand, and is very pleased with herself.  She asks if he should go home, but he tells her that Sue Ellen is very understanding.  He wants her to break things off with Ray or he will do it for her.
Ray is back and tells Jock that JR was wrong and the bull isn’t for sale, Jock can’t understand how JR got it wrong, and is mad because it was a wasted trip.  Ray goes to his room, and Lucy comes in and wants to resume their relationship, he tells her that they are over and he shouldn’t have let things begin, and he just wants to be friends.  She gets mad and tells him about JR and Garnet and the “exclusive agreement” she saw in the office.  Ray storms out.  Pam hears Lucy screaming for Ray to stop that she only said it to make him mad.  When Pam comes out to see what’s going on he says that Bobby got her and he’ll be damned if JR will get Garnet.  Pam goes and tells Bobby that JR is at Garnet’s and Ray is on his way.
Ray is getting dressed and when Ray comes into the room he catches them kissing.  Ray punches JR and JR can’t hold him off, he’s being thrown about the room.  Bobby burst in and pulls Ray off.  Ray tells them that they think that they can buy everything and that he’s going to leave Southfork, as he is leaving Garnet tells him that she told him how it would be, and he tells her that she is no better than they are.  Bobby follows Ray.
JR gets up from the bed and goes to leave.  Garnet tells him that the contract is legal and he better not try to get out of it, or she’ll tell about the “exclusive agreement.”
Bobby is trying to talk Ray from leaving the Ranch, when JR joins them he tells Ray he wants him off the ranch.  Ray tells him that he was going to leave, but now he’s going to stay and if he wants him to leave then he’ll have to find a way for Jock to fire him.  He tells JR he’s going to be watching him, he leaves.
Bobby tells JR that he’s got a knack from making every friend he ever had into an enemy.
The next morning Lucy rides over to Ray and tells him how sorry she is, and wants to know if they can still be friends, and that she doesn’t have many friends, he turns to look at her, and he kind of smiles, and she knows that he’s forgiven her.
Final Thoughts:  This episode was pretty good, the acting was good.  As I said earlier I think that they should have gotten an actress that could sing, because the singing wasn't good.  And really she wasn't that stunning that I would think that JR would want her that bad, the girls he's been with have all been better looking so far.  I liked that Ray stood up to JR and told him that he's going to stay at Southfork.  There's a lot of drama building and there's still 13 episodes left of the season.
Best Outfit: It has to be this one, it's got to be the most unflattering thing I've seen, the pants must be really high and the shirt is too tight, yuck.
Before they were stars: Kate Mulgrew from Star Trek: Voyager
Fight Count: 1 (Ray vs JR)
