JR is finishing up his meeting with Senator Newton, he’s against the O.L.M and wants them removed too.  He asks JR if he would like to meet with another senator, JR thinks about it for a bit, but agrees.
Sue Ellen gets another drink, and sits down at JR’s desk, she calls Cliff, he’s with a lady.  She asks if they can meet, he tells her no, she asks if he’s with someone, he tells her that it doesn’t matter and hangs up on her.  She finishes the drink in one go.

Sue Ellen is driving home, she seems to be having a hard time staying awake, she pulls over and passes out.
Ray pours Lucy another cup of coffee and makes her drink it, he asks her what Miss Ellie would like, she says that she and the rest of the family never notice her, he wants to know how long she’s been doing the pills.
Bobby is driving home, Pam is following him, when she spots Sue Ellen’s car, he pulls over and checks on her, Pam asks if she’s hurt, Bobby says that she must have pulled over and passed out, he takes her out of the car and puts her into his and drives her home, they will get someone to pick up her car in the morning.

Bobby tells Jock and Miss Ellie that they all need to stop pretending not to notice Sue Ellen’s drinking problem, Miss Ellie asks where JR was, Bobby tells her that he never showed up, Jock says that JR is responsible for this.  JR comes home and says that he saw Sue Ellen’s car by the side of the road, Bobby tells him that he brought her home.  Miss Ellie tells him that she passed out drunk.  JR tells them all to stay out of his marriage.  Miss Ellie tells him that she wants to talk to him alone.  She tells him that he is as power hungry as Jock, only Jock has some redeeming qualities, and she doesn’t think that JR has any, then she asks him if he loves anyone, she says that he loves Sue Ellen, Miss Ellie says that he’s neglected her since the day he married her, with his business then with his women, and that he didn’t even try to hide it.  She tells him that his child is in danger and he’s got to do something about it.  He says that it’s too late.  After he leaves the room, she says to herself that she gave him up too soon.  JR goes to his room and looks at Sue Ellen in the bed.
Ray asks Lucy if she’s feeling better, and he tells her to stay put, while he goes to get Bobby.  The minute he leaves she gets up, when Ray and Bobby get back they find her and her car gone.  He tells Bobby that she’s been taking pills, Bobby is going to call the sheriff to bring her home, but then Ray says that she might have gone to her friend Annie’s house, they decided to go over and check it out, Bobby tells Ray that he’s going to tell Pam so she can cover for them if she has to.  They drive over to Annie’s and find a party going on.  They go inside and find Lucy hanging all over a guy, when Bobby tells her it’s time to go, she says she doesn’t want to and the guy she was with says to listen to her, buy Ray tells him to stay out of it.  Ray takes her outside, and Bobby asks Annie where her parents are, she tell him that they are out of town, and asks if he’s got to tell them, he says that he doesn’t have a choice.   Bobby finds the pills in Lucy’s purse and asks her how long she’s been taking them, but she’s too out of it to answer.  When they get back to the ranch he tells her to act like nothing is wrong when she gets inside.  Bobby gives Ray her car keys and tells her that she can’t go anywhere without someone taking her, and she can’t have her car back till she’s ready.  He covers for Lucy when Miss Ellie says she doesn’t look good,
JR drops a bottle onto the floor waking Sue Ellen, he tells her that he has to talk to her.  He tells her that everyone saw her, and she’s an embarrassment to him.  She says that the last thing she remembers is waiting for him at the office, he tells her he was working, and then says that it won’t happen again.  He tells her that he’s removing all the bottles from the bedroom, and will have all the liquor cabinet’s locked and the servants won’t open them for her.  Once he leaves she gets up and goes to the closet and takes out a bottle from a shoe box.
The next morning Bobby asks JR how Sue Ellen is, he doesn’t give him a answer, he asks if their parents left already, and Bobby reminds him that they went to Jock’s doctor’s appointment.  After he leaves, Pam tells Bobby she doesn’t like leaving Sue Ellen and Lucy home alone, he tells her that Ray will check in on them.  Bobby finds Lucy and tells her that he wants to talk to her once he gets home.  After he leaves she pulls out another packet of the pills and takes one.
Lucy is wandering around the house and giggling, she sees Sue Ellen coming down the stairs with a suitcase she asks her where she’s going.  Sue Ellen falls down the stairs, and Lucy sit by her side and is giggling when Ray comes in and finds them now this isn’t supposed to be funny, but it’s some of the funniest stuff on the show so far, Lucy is kind of poking at Sue Ellen laughing, and Ray is trying to get her to leave Sue Ellen alone, who’s moaning about the baby.  Ray calls an ambulance.
In Bobby’s office he’s going over some plans, and tells the man he’s with that the O.L,M won’t approve them, even if Cliff Barnes is his brother-in-law.  Ray calls Bobby and tells him about Sue Ellen and that Lucy got into more pills, he tells him he’ll be home soon.  Bobby goes to tell JR about Sue Ellen.
At the hospital, the doctor is looking over the print outs, Sue Ellen asks her if the baby is okay, she tells her that the baby will be fine.  The doctor leaves her and goes to talk to JR, she tells him that Sue Ellen was lucky this time, and that she told Sue Ellen that she needed to stop drinking, and tells him that he needs to take Sue Ellen to a clinic, but he tells her that the Ewing’s take care of their own, she says that they haven’t done a very good job so far.   Miss Ellie goes to see Sue Ellen, Jock stays behind to talk to JR, he tells him that he’s going to be watching him more closely to be sure he is doing what he should be doing.
Bobby gets home and asks where Lucy is, and Ray tells him that he got the rest of her pills.  Lucy tells him she’s sorry and doesn’t know how she could just sat there when Sue Ellen needed her help.  He asks how she would have felt if Sue Ellen died, he asks her why she’s taking the pills, she tells him to take the pain away.  He tells her that once she stops taking the pill she will feel better , she just needs to give it some time, but the pills arent’ the answer.
Sue Ellen tells Miss Ellie she needs to be more careful walking around in high heel shoes.  JR announces that Sue Ellen won’t be coming home right away, he’s going to send her to a clinic, she tries to protest, but Miss Ellie and Jock tell her that it’s what she needs.  Sue Ellen is in denial, she can’t imagine why she would need to go to the clinic.
JR drives her there, she begs him not to leave her there, he tells her it will just be till the baby is born, and the orderlies drag her into the building as she screams at JR.
Final Thoughts:  I thought Sue Ellen looked like Bella from Breaking Dawn during the scene when JR talks to her in bed, when I get the movie I want to make a video using the dialogue from Breaking Dawn with the video from this episode.
Best Outfit:  This shirt is weird it's got that illusion fabric that they use in ice skating costumes, and that look on Lucy's face is hilarious.

Cecil calls Claudia to set up a lunch date, Jeff comes in and asks him if it’s true that he gave Blake money for Fallon to marry him.  He didn’t want to believe it but now he does.  Jeff tells him that Cecil would do anything do anything to get his hands on Dever-Carrington.  He tells Jeff that Blake took the money willingly.
Sammy Jo and Steven are at the cabin, she tells him that she’s never been happier.  He tells her that he wants to race cars that he has found what has made him happy.  He asks her to marry him.
Fallon goes to Nick’s office, she wants to go to his house so she can be alone, he knows it’s so she can hide from Jeff.  She tells him that she loves him again, he wants her to stop using him, she can go to his house, but he warns her that she better not be there when he gets home.
Blake calls home and wants to talk to Krystle, but Joesph tells him that she is still asleep.  Ray Bonning, the man who works for Logan Rhinewood, comes in to see Blake, he tells him that he’s there to buy the rest of the football team, he threatens Blake, and leaves.  In the hall he calls Rhinewood, and tells him he knows what he is doing and if things go that far then they will deal with his widow.
Andrew comes into Blake’s office, he congratulates him on the deal he made with Rashid, he show Blake the tabloid and tells him that it’s now news.  Blake tells him that nothing happened.  He tells Andrew that he wants to go to the Middle East and wrap up the deal.

Steven and Sammy Jo get married at a justice of the peace, with his wife as the witness.
Jeff goes to see Blake he is angry about Blake’s involvement, he tells him that he didn’t know about it until after Jeff and Fallon were married.  Jeff tells Blake that Fallon is having an abortion.  Blake rushes out of his office.
Fallon is in the waiting room, a nurse tells her that the doctor is ready for her.  Blake gets to the clinic and asks where Fallon is, he pushes past a nurse to go find her.  They see each other in the hall and she runs to him, crying that she couldn’t do it.
Alexis’ private investigator has come over with the report he has on Krystle’s past.  She wants to know more, and wants him to tell her more about Krystle’s ex-husband.  Andrew comes over and asks her to call Rashid for him, he asks about the man that left when he got there, she tells him that it was just a picture framer, but he seems to doubt her.
In her room at the house, Blake is sitting with Fallon in bed, they talk about how much she loved him when she was little, making him fudge, and drawing pictures of him.  He leaves her when she falls a sleep.
Blake asks Joseph where Krystle is, he tells her she’s been in her room waiting for him.
In their room he sees the newspaper and magazine on the bed, he apologizes, and says he hopes she understands, but she tells him that she doesn’t and believes that he did sleep with Alexis.  She leaves the house and drives away, Alexis has seen everything that went on as Blake rushes after her.
Later Alexis joins Blake in the kitchen, she asks if Krystle saw the picture, and asks if there is anything she can do.  He wants to know if she knew about the picture, she gets upset asking him how he could suspect her.  Of course he believes her when she said she had nothing to do with it.
Krystle stops at a pay phone and calls the house, Blake asks Alexis to answer it, Krystle is very upset to hear her on the other end, and hangs up and begins to cry.
Final Thought:  Really Blake, you should have called Krystle right away when you found out about the picture being in the paper, and then you should not trust your ex-wife.  I can't wait to see Alexis' face when she finds out that Sammy Jo and Steven are married.  Jeff is a nice guy and needs to just get out to of this marriage already, but Fallon is stupid to think that Nick would really get involved with her, he's pretty clear that he's not really that interested in her, but I guess she likes that.
Best Outfit:  When I first saw this I thought it was a robe.

At the office there is a Mr. Morgan in JR’s office he tells Jock and JR that the O.L.M have stopped them from their test drilling, because they had a delay with the environmental report, JR says that Cliff is just holding them up.  JR tells Jock that they need to do something about Cliff, and remove the O.L.M.  They need to get someone with a lot of power to help them out, they decided to call Sam Culver, he owes Jock a favor.

At a bar (which a group that looks like it could be a part of the Partridge family) there is a group of people that we’ve never seen before, they all want to go somewhere else to dance, except for one lady, she says she wants to stay and listen to the music, one of the men doesn’t like that starts to give her a hard time, they are getting a lot of notice from the other people in the bar, one of them is Ray, he comes over and suggests that the guy leaves before a fight breaks out. She thanks Ray and he asks if she would like to have a drink with him.  Later they are talking about him working the ranch.  Her cab arrives and she tells him that she had a good time, he asks if they can get together again, she asks if he will be here the next night, he said he might.
Sam is late for lunch with JR and Jock, when he does arrive they talk to him about how Cliff is out to get the Ewing’s and they want him to help them get some laws past that will help them out, I doubt even then that you could get laws past as fast as they would need them to help them.  He tells them that he needs to look in to it, and they invite him and his wife to dinner at Southfork.  She comes to pick him up, and he introduces Jock and JR to his wife Donna, she’s the lady from the bar.
JR comes home and finds Sue Ellen drinking alone in the room where the family gathers before dinner.  She says that he seems pleased with himself.  He tells her that if she isn’t going to come to dinner, then he hopes that she won’t make a sound if she passes out.
Donna meets up with Ray again, he says he didn’t think that she would come, he wants to know more about her, since they just talked about him last night.  She gives him the basic facts, but not that she is married.
Ray tells Pam and Bobby about his new lady friend and make plans to meet up for a drink in a few days.
Sam and Jock are reminiscing about their past, JR is pushing for Sam to give him an answer, but he tells him that he’s not ready yet, he wants to talk to Donna about it first.  Miss Ellie tells them that she doesn’t want to hear anymore talk about business.
In JR and Sue Ellen’s room, JR tells her that he’s glad that she didn’t speak during dinner, since she would probably have made a fool of herself.
Lucy has come friends over, hanging out by the pool, they want her to go with them to a party, but she is still upset about Kit, and doesn’t want to go, one of the girls gives her a pill, telling her that it will make her feel better.  They all cheer when she takes it.
Bobby and Ray go to the bar to meet up with Ray and his date, when they see that it’s Donna they leave before Ray could see them.  The next morning Bobby calls Donna to meet up with him, JR overhears Bobby on the phone.
One of the members of the D.O.A tells Miss Ellie that they want Sue Ellen to resign temporarily as president until she’s had the baby and is back to normal, everyone knows that Sue Ellen is drinking a lot.   They ask Miss Ellie to talk to Sue Ellen about it.
Donna meets up with Bobby and he asks her why she is seeing Ray, and if he knows she’s married.  He tells her that Ray was hurt before by Garnet McGee, she tells him that she doesn’t want to hurt Ray, and that she cares for Ray.  She tells him how she met Sam, and that she loves him but is not and has never been in love with him.  She knows that all three of them will be hurt, and she doesn’t know what she can do about it.
JR gets home and Miss Ellie tells him that Sue Ellen is resigning, I don’t think she told Sue Ellen about it yet, but to save face Sue Ellen acts like she was the one to decide this.  JR wants to know where Ray is, and Jock tells him that he went to town.  He tells him that he has to go out to, and for him to tell Sue Ellen that he will be late.
Ray and Donna are in a motel room, Ray tells her that he wants to go away together for awhile, so that they can get to know each other better.  JR is outside watching the window.
JR meets Donna as she is window shopping, he tells her that he wants her to convince Sam to support the Ewing’s, and if she does he won’t tell Ray that she’s married.
Lucy’s friends get her to come with them to another party and give her another one of those pills.
Donna calls Ray and tells him she has to see him.
JR tells Jock that he hasn’t heard from Sam yet, but he’s sure to hear from him anytime.
Ray tells Donna it’s nice to see her out in the open for a change.  She tells him that she is leaving Dallas, he asks if she is leaving or running.  She tells him that she is married, he asks her if she loves him, she tells him that her husband is rich, powerful and an older man.  He asks if he was just some young stud to her, she tells him that he is very special to her and that she would have had an affair before if it was like that.  She tells him that she loves Sam but isn’t in love with him, and that she told him that, and that she is going to divorce him,  Ray says that she can stay then, but she tells him that she can’t , she needs time to figure thinks out.  She tells him that he is a good man, and that when she comes back, he kisses her and tells her that he’ll be here.
At Southfork Bobby tells JR that Sam is on the phone for him, JR is happy to hear from him till Sam tells him that he won’t be supporting them that he will be giving his support to the O.L.M. and to Cliff.  JR starts to tell him about Donna, but Sam stops him telling him that he knows everything already.
Ray tells Bobby that he’s ready to build that house on his land, he tells him that things didn’t work out with his friend, but he learned that he can still care for someone.

Final Thought: Things are going to well for JR and Sue Ellen, everyone knows she's drinking too much but no one will say anything.  JR is getting over his head and something is going to happen where he's going to be in a lot of trouble.  I liked Donna and Ray together, I hope that she comes back, but I just don't see her being 28 like she told Ray.  But now I know about how old Bobby is, since they went to school together.
Best Outfit:  This looks like Pam is auditioning for a part in Annie Get Your Gun.

Nick comes downstairs and finds Fallon at his door, she wants his advice, she tells him that Jeff found out about the baby, and knows that she made an appointment for an abortion.  She wants him to refer her to a doctor in New York so Jeff can’t stop her from going through with it.  She goes on and tells Nick that she would have the baby if it was his.  He’s just the nicest guy, he tells Fallon he’ll talk to her about this when she’s not another man’s wife.  He goes back upstairs to get ready for work, the phone rings and Fallon answers it, it’s Krystle.  Naturally Fallon assumes that Nick is also sleeping with Krystle, and since her father is out of town Krystle is free to call him whenever she likes.  He asks who called and she tells him to guess, she doesn’t believe him when he tells her that Krystle is only his patient.  He tells her to stop acting like a child, he won’t put up with it.
Jeff asks a friend, who’s a lawyer about father’s rights to stop a woman from aborting his child, Jeff uses the old line, I’m asking for a friend of a friend- like anyone can believes that.

Steven comes home from a doctors appointment and finds Sammy Jo working on his car, she is fixing it up so he can go racing again, he tells her he’s impressed with what she’s done, she asks how impressed and he kisses her.
Blake thinks that there is something to easy about this deal, they couldn’t get a hold of Rashid, but she was able to find him without a problem.  He asks about her connection to Rashid, she says that they were involved at one time and he owes her a favor, so she called it in of help him.
Krystle goes to her bedroom and finds Sammy Jo there at the dressing table playing with her hair, she tells her that she got a letter from Sammy Jo’s father,  and knows that he told Sammy Jo that he wouldn’t be coming back for her.  Krystle tells her that she can go to school and maybe become a secretary, Sammy Jo has other plans, and I don’t think that they involve her working.
Steven and Fallon are talking, he tells her that she shouldn’t do anything for Blake, he doesn’t tell her what he means, but she’s getting suspicious of his constant innuendos about them.
Jeff’s friend tells him that the father has no rights, Claudia comes in and has some papers for him to sign, he asks her if it’s normal for a woman not to want her baby.  She tells him that if the woman is unsure of the love of her husband then she might.
Blake calls Krystle and tells her that he has been delayed, she wants to come out to be with him, but he tells her to stay, he doesn’t ever tell her that he is with Alexis.  Alexis asks Blake to put suntan lotion on her.  There is someone in the trees taking photos of them, the dogs start barking and he hides just in time before Blake or Alexis can see him.  Alexis meets up with the photographer and pays him for his work.
Jeff tells Fallon that he is sorry and wants them to stop fighting, he begs her to change her mind about the abortion.
Rashid finally arrives and Blake tells him that he’s not happy to be kept waiting for 3 days.  They discuss the deal, Blake will only release the money once the oil tankers are release.  Rashid says no, but Blake tells him he knows that he is need of the money he will get from this deal, and that he can lower the amount.  Rashid says he needs to talk to the Prince first.
Fallon asks Krystle if Blake called, and asks if Krystle knows anything about Fallon and Blake.  Then she asks her about Nick, Krystle tells her she doesn’t know anything about Nick, that he’s just her doctor hired by Blake who would only hire the best.
Krystle goes to Nick’s office to keep her appointment, she sees the tabloid, with the picture of Blake and Alexis on the cover, on the table.  She runs out of the office, Nick comes out and sees the magazine and yells at his secretary for having such a rag in the office.  He catches up to Krystle outside and takes her back to his house to watch him cook.
Steven wins the race that Sammy Jo set up, he tells her he wants to go celebrate with her at his cabin this has become his love cabin, the only person who missed out was Ted Dinard.
Nick and Krystle talk about how Blake doesn’t share his business with her.
Blake thanks Alexis for what she did to help him, they kiss, but he tells her it was a mistake, and it shouldn’t have happened.  He tells her that he needs to go home.
Krystle is picking at her food, she sees the magazine in Nick’s jacket pocket and gets mad at him, he said that he didn’t bring it up because he knew it was painful to her.  When she begins to cry he tells her that Blake isn’t worth her tears and that she doesn’t owe Blake anything.  She says that she needs to go home, because she knows what will happen if she stays, he moves closer to her and kisses her.
Final Thoughts:  Blake is really stupid, I can't believe that he would really believe anything Alexis told him, and for him not to tell Krystle is just plain stupid too.

When they get back to Southfork, they are interrupted from their kiss by JR who has come home, to her surprise he isn’t his usual self, he tells them to have a good time and goes to his room, where he finds Sue Ellen passed out on the bed, with a bottle of scotch practically empty, he takes her shoes off and throws the covers over her.
The next morning, Lucy is in a great mood, JR is going on about how great it is that Lucy is dating Kit.  She asks Pam to take her to school, but JR stops her and tells her that he’s being genuine and wants to take her and Kit out to dinner with him and Sue Ellen, she agrees.
At dinner JR asks Kit about the family business, and Lucy tells them that he wasn’t always interested in oil and cattle, he was also a writer, the waiter brings around more brandy, JR takes Sue Ellen’s glass away, she drunk again.  He tells them that they must have had enough of them, he tells them that he called Jimmy’s Disco and to have a good time.  As they leave Sue Ellen tells him that he’s over doing the Mr. Nice Guy act and that someone is bound to suspect that he’s up to something.  Lucy is sure he’s got something up his sleeve but she can’t figure it out.
In his office Kit’s father comes in and shows him a invitation that the received from the Ewing’s, when he asks what it means, he gets a really sarcastic reply that they want them to attend.  His father tells him that he’s proud of the way he’s turned himself around, and that even though he doesn’t think much of JR, he would support his son if he married Lucy.
The night of the party, things are going well, Jock and Miss Ellie are watching their granddaughter, who looks very happy.  JR seems pleased with himself.  Sue Ellen is drunk, as usual, a man is flirting with her, Pam comes over and tries to get her to go upstairs, but she doesn’t want to and tries to take back her drink.  Miss Ellie sees this and comes over and orders Sue Ellen to let Pam take her upstairs.  She thinks Pam is the disgrace, I think being drunk at a party would be more disgraceful for the family, but Sue Ellen doesn’t see herself as a drunk.  Kit sees his parents arrive and he and Lucy welcome them to the party.  Ray and Lucy talk about how much she loves Kit, and he sees them and asks Bobby about them, Bobby asks if he’s jealous, and he says that he is.  JR is trying to talk business with Kit’s father, but he tells him that they can talk when they’ve actually got something to talk about, just then they see Lucy throwing her arms around Kit.  JR knows that this is good news for him.  Lucy runs over and announces that Kit just asked her to marry him and she said yes.
A few days later, the morning paper has the announcement of the upcoming wedding, Sue Ellen and Miss Ellie talk about wedding plans, they say that they should plan on 300 guest, but Lucy says that she and Kit just want a small wedding, but JR tells her that they have responsibilities.  Lucy says that she wants her parents at the wedding, Jock and Miss Ellie tell her that this is fine, by them and Miss Ellie will write to them with the news.  Lucy asks if someone can take her to Dallas, and JR volunteers, he then tells her that he’s planning on getting her a car for her graduation.
JR is with the boys from the cartel, they have heard that Mainwaring is going to build a refinery in the gulf, and that Cliff has approved it, they’ve heard the news about the wedding.  JR tells them that he’s got another meeting and leaves them, they know that the two companies will get together and that they need them both.
Bobby and Pam went to Jimmy’s disco with Lucy and Kit, they talk about how much they like him.  Kit and Lucy go to sit down after dancing.  An old friend of Kit’s comes over, Kit introduces Lucy to Sam.  When he leaves Lucy asks who he was, he tells her it was his college roommate.  I’m getting a feeling of déjà vu here, this is beginning to sound like Steven from Dynasty.
Lucy and Kit go back to his place, she asks if they are going to play some backgammon before he takes her home, but he tells her no, and then takes her into his arms.  He tells her that he wants her.  Later while he’s getting dressed she tells him that she happy that it finally happened.
The next day Kit comes to see Bobby.  He tells him that he has to call off the wedding, Bobby asks him why.  He’s reluctant to tell him, but he does.  He tells Bobby that he can’t marry Lucy because he’s gay.  Ha, I was right, I wonder if we will see Kit again, or is his father going to kill his lover, like Blake did in Dynasty?  He tells Bobby that he didn’t mean for it to happen like this, he fell in love with Lucy and thought that she could change him, he tells him that he and Lucy slept together and he knows that he’s still gay.  He asks Bobby what he should say to Lucy, Bobby tells him that whatever he tells Lucy will hurt her.
At Southfork, Lucy is opening up gifts from some of Sue Ellen’s friends, they are going to a luncheon in Dallas.  She collapses in a chair and tells them that she’s been having dizzy spell, when they suggest she stay home, she tells them that she’s just fine, she tells them that she’s tired of resting.
Kit and JR are discussing the families getting into business together, he tells JR that he’ll have his lawyers contact in soon.  Bobby comes in and tells JR that Kit is going to call off the wedding, JR tells him that he won’t, he has known that Kit is gay and he doesn’t care what this means for Lucy.  He will make sure that the wedding takes place.
Kit and Lucy have made plans to meet later, the doorbell rings and it’s JR, Kit tells JR that he wants to tell Lucy that the wedding is off, but JR tells him that they’ve got some things to discuss.  JR tells him that Lucy is very much in love with him and that she will help him stay on the right track.  Kit asks if Bobby told him, but JR tells him that he already knew.  He tells Kit that he wants the wedding to go on as planned and that will buy his silence.
When Lucy gets to his apartment, she asks what he wanted to talk about, but he tells her that it doesn’t matter, then she begins to talk about what she’s going to do after the wedding, she says that she thinks that she might go to college, he interrupts her and tells her that he needs to call off the wedding,  When she asks why he tells her that he’s gay.  He tells her that Sam was not just  his roommate, but his lover..  He tells her that he didn’t want it to happen this way, and that was why he began seeing her.  She tells him that she’ll help him.  He asks her if she can accept the fact that he would go back to Sam or to some other man.  She says no.  He’s learned from loving her, he tells her and that he’s really sorry for hurting her like this.  He tells her that Bobby and JR know, he’s going to tell his parents, but he knows that JR will want a scandal, she tell him that she’ll handle JR.  She wants to know if they can still see each other, he tells her that he would like to but only when it stops hurting, she says that then that will be a very long time.
At home JR tells Jock that things are going well and that Mainwaring’s lawyer will be contacting them soon, so that they will be in on the refinery.  Bobby, Pam, Miss Ellie and Sue Ellen, and the ladies from the Daughters of the Alamo all come home, and tell JR about Sue Ellen having another dizzy spell, she says that the doctor told her everything is fine.  Lucy comes home and tells them that she and Kit had a fight and the wedding is off, everyone tells her that it’s normal and they will get back together, but she says no it wouldn’t work because he’s too possessive and jealous, she makes up a story about meeting up with an old friend and Kit getting jealous.  JR wants Jock to tell Lucy that she has to marry Kit, but Jock and Miss Ellie tell him that it’s her choice.  Bobby follows Lucy who is crying in the other room, he tells her that he’s proud of what she did in there, and that eventually it will stop hurting.
Final Thoughts:  Okay so I got this book from a used book store for free, which was pretty cool, and I had planned on reviewing the book then I start watching this episode, and I realize that it covers pretty much everything I've read so far, I think I will still review it, but not till I'm finished with this season.
Best Outfit:  I went between two dresses for this episode, Pam's dress is awful, and looking back Sue Ellen's was pretty bad.  I can't tell if Pam's outfit is a dress or if it's got pants.

At the doctor's she tells Fallon that she is pregnant, she tells her that it's going to be a good pregnancy.  She wants to ask the doctor something.
Claudia and Cecil are at a nice restaurant he asks why she went to work for Blake, she tells him because he offered, and because of Matthew, she tells him that Blake has people looking for Matthew and Lindsay.  He asks if they've had any luck, and then offers his help in searching for them.
Fallon, Jeff and Blake are in the drawing room, they are waiting to for Krystle.  Krystle comes down, she is wearing the pearls.  Fallon tells her about seeing Sammy Jo at the garage and how she thinks it pays to be a girl in the family, she say that you couldn't blame her for thinking that, and goes on to say that she saw Krystle get a car for getting pregnant and pearl for losing it, Jeff tells her to knock it off, (I don't think she meant to be mean by this for once), Krystle excuses herself and goes back upstairs.  Blake follows her, tells her that Fallon didn't mean it, he suggest that they go for a drive she tells him later, that she's tired and goes up to bed.  Jeff tells her that she did it again, Fallon tells him that she'll apologize tomorrow because she's got to go out.  Jeff asks who it is again, she suggests he follow her if he thinks she's cheating on him.
Steven and his date are at the St. Denis Club, she thinks he's making stories, she thinks he's funny.  She suggests that they go to her place, as they leave they run into Blake.  After that encounter Blake needs a double bourbon.

Jeff is given something for his hangover, Blake joins him at the table.  Blake isn't impresses with his son.  He tells him that he's seen Dotty with other men who pay for her services.  Blake tells him that he's going overboard.  Steven tells him that he's having a great time.
Joseph brings Blake the phone it's Alexis, she tells him that she found Rashid Ahmed, she won't tell him how she found him till he gets to Rome himself.  She tells him he can release the oil tankers, she doesn't know how he can do it.  He asks what's in it for him, she tells him 10%.  He tells her he can't leave Krystle, she tells him that he has to, but he can't tell anyone about the deal.  He tells her he'll call her when he gets into Rome.  Rashid Ahmed asks what Blake will do when he finds out that he's gone, she tells him that she will think of something.
Blake tells Krystle he is going to meet with Rashid Ahmed, he can't just send anyone, he'll be gone only a couple days.  He asks how her appointment with Nick went, she told him she cancelled it.  She insists she's getting better, but it will take time, she tells him she doesn't want Nick's help.
Fallon comes out of the shower and tells him she's ready to have that talk he's been wanting to have, she tells him that she can see how he sees her.  He tells her that he knows that she wasn't in love with him when she married him, she says that they should get a divorce.  He tells her about the phone call and he knows about her abortion that she scheduled, he tells her that they can get a divorce after she has the baby.
Final Thoughts:  What is Alexis planning, I think the makeup job on John Saxon is funny, he looks more like Sean Connery then someone from the Middle East.  I thought it was funny when Jeff told Fallon to knock it off, someone needs to do that more often, maybe Nick do her some good, but what she sees in him I don't know, to me he's not that good looking.  Steven was funny with that date of his, and Blake's facial expressions when they left the restaurant and at the table were hilarious.  And why does Blake suddenly believe Alexis, and why would he trust her, did he tell her he was looking for Rashid Ahmed, if I was him I would have been very suspicious.
Best Outfit:  I love that this is how she dresses for just hanging around the hotel room.

Call Girl

Dallas
Season 1 Episode 25
Air Date:  February 23, 1979

Recap:  JR and Bobby are playing racquetball, Bobby leaves when he gets a call from Ray.
Pam is overseeing a photo shoot.
Bobby gets home and Ray and another ranch hand tell him that they found some fences down and that they are missing some cattle.  Ray and Bobby decide that they will go to a couple bars later that night to see if they can find anything about the cattle rustlers.
JR is having trouble with the cartel, they want him to get control over Ben Maxwell, then they can work with him again.
At dinner Jock asks JR about the meeting with the cartel, JR doesn’t want to talk about it right now, but Jock insists, JR tells him that they want to cash in.  Jock isn’t pleased and tells JR he needs to get more independent oil companies behind Ewing Oil.
The next day JR is playing racquetball with Ben Maxwell, (he’s the guy that gave Cliff his new job).
At another photo shoot, Pam and a model go to the racket club, Bobby might be there.  Pam and Leann talk about how much Pam misses Bobby, Leann suggests that she move in with her, Pam isn’t sure about it, she thinks that it will make the separation seem more permanent.
JR and Maxwell go to the bar, he is telling him that Cliff has a vendetta against the Ewing’s.  He doesn’t seem to believe this, but that could be just an act, since I remember Cliff telling him that he was going to bury JR.  Pam and Leann are leaving and come across JR, who introduces her to Ben, Pam introduces Leann to them.  JR asks Ben if he’s interested in Leann, who tells him no, that he’s happily married.
JR goes to Leann’s apartment, they knew each other from before, she used to be a call girl, and has done work for JR in the past.  Pam calls her and she tells her to come over in 15 minutes, so she can get rid of JR, he finds a picture of her daughter, she tells him that is why she quit, he gives her some money, which she rips up, she tells him that she only sold herself, but he is a prized pimp since he would sell anyone, even his own family.  JR leaves and watches Pam go into the apartment from his car.
Pam calls Bobby and tells him that she will be moving in with a friend, he isn’t happy about this, and when Miss Ellie comes in and asks him if Pam is coming home he tells her no, that she’s moving in with a friend, JR is pouring himself a drink and listening, he begins to smile when he hears who she will be moving in with.
JR calls a police man who’s helped him in the past, he wants him to go to Leann and give her the “B treatment” (wonder what that is).  He goes over to her apartment and tells her that she is being arrested for solicitation (if that is the “B treatment” I wonder what the “A treatment is).
Bobby and Ray get to another bar, and they see a fight break out, it’s a bunch of older guys against one young guy.  They jump into the fight and soon the whole bar seems to be involved.  Of course Bobby and Ray get the upper hand and get out before the other guys can get up, the young guy is Kit Mainwaring, from another oil company.  He tells them he’s doing the same thing they are looking for rustlers.  They plan on going to talk to the sheriff in the morning.
The cop tells Leann to remember that she has powerful friends and lets her go.  When she gets in her apartment she finds JR inside, he tells her that he wants her to set up Ben Maxwell and Pam.  He wants her to convince Ben that she is really interested in him, then bring him home so they can take some pictures.  She asks him why he wants to set Pam up, he tells her he wants to kill two birds with one stone.
Jock isn’t happy that they lost the refinery deal, thanks to the cartel backing out on them.  Bobby tells the whole family about the bar fight, and what they learned about the rustlers.  Kit comes over and Bobby introduces him to the family.  After they go to the sheriff’s, Jock tells JR it would be a good move to get in to business with the Mainwaring’s.  Lucy thinks this is a great idea, she thinks he’s gorgeous, and asks Miss Ellie to invite the Mainwarings to their next party.
Leann comes up to Ben at the racket club, she tells him she’s waiting for Pam, he asks her to join him till she gets there.  She calls Pam later and tells her she left her keys for her with the landlady, and that she shouldn’t wait up for her.
JR hires a photographer, he tells him that he doesn’t do that kind of work anymore, but JR is very persuasive.
who wouldn't want a large lion in their living room.
Pam gets to the apartment and looks around the living room, she looks around, it looks like she thinks she will be happy here, and why not with this lovely piece of art.
Leann gets a ride home with Ben, she asks him to come up for a nightcap, (so much for being happily married), JR is watching and once they go inside he drives away.  Inside she gets him the drink, and tells him she’ll be right back, she opens the curtains in the bedroom where Pam is sleeping, the photographer is outside.  She changes and opens the door to the room, Ben comes to her and they kiss.  They move closer to the bed, where she gets him to fall on the bed, Pam wakes up and the photographer begins to take pictures, Ben realizes that this was a set up and runs from the apartment, Pam is confused about what happened.
The next day Jock shows JR the paper, with the photon on the front page.  Miss Ellie doesn’t believe it, and gets upset that Jock and JR are just still there talking about business.  JR shows Bobby the paper, he grabs JR and punches him.  Jock steps between them, Bobby rushes off, and Jock tells JR that if he finds out that he had anything to do with this then he will give him a good beating.
Leann calls her mother and tells her that she is going to come get her daughter, she tells her she has enough money now to take good care of her.  Pam comes out and asks her about what happened last night.  Leann tells her that she is leaving town, she tells Pam that she wouldn’t have done it if she could have helped it.  She gives her the newspaper and leaves the apartment.
JR is having a meeting with the cartel, he asks them if they heard the news about Maxwell resigning from the O.L.M, they still aren’t happy since Cliff is still working there.  They tell JR that with Cliff still at the O.L.M then Ewing Oil is just like any other independent oil company and to call them once Cliff resigns.
Bobby finds Pam leaving the apartment.  He tells her he’s come to bring her home, she says she can’t live at Southfork with the scandal, he tells her that everyone knows it was a set-up.  He tells her that it was JR, but he can’t prove it.  If she doesn’t come back then JR has won, but if she comes home and that together they can win.  She tells him that she loves him, and they go back to Southfork.
Pam tells Bobby that she’s happy to be home, Lucy runs out and tells Pam how much she missed her, Miss Ellie and Jock come out, and she asks if she needs to explain what happened, and Jock tells her that there is nothing to explain.  Sue Ellen is the only one who isn’t happy to see her, she tells Pam she is a disgrace.  Bobby tells Jock that some of the rustlers were arrested.  JR comes home and is surprised to see Pam there, Bobby tells him that they would like to thank the person who leaked the picture to the newspapers, because it got them back together.
Final Thoughts:  So JR has failed in his latest attempt at getting Pam out of Bobby's life.  I find it really amazing that Miss Ellie and Jock are so blind to what JR gets up to.  I haven't mentioned this before, I must have forgotten about it, but I know Sue Ellen is a drunk, but I can't believe that they have her drinking so much, it's those little things that make the show dated, otherwise the stories are relevant.
Best Outfit:  Wow those are some short shorts
Fight Count: 2 (Bobby, Ray and Kit vs group) (Bobby vs JR)
