Recap: Bobby and Pam are in a rush to get to work, Lucy and Sue Ellen are arguing about Lucy getting her own car, she is going to take Lucy to school.
Pam is going to lunch with some of girls from "The Store," and she sees Cliff at a table. He tells her he's been stood up, he asks if she wants to join him, but she asks for a rain check since she's already here with her friends, she runs into Sue Ellen on her way to her table.
Pam goes to Liz's office and they talk about her working her way up into the company.
JR wants Bobby to run things at Ewing Oil while he is in Washington, but Bobby says he's got too much to do at Ewing Construction, Jock says he'll go in.
Sue Ellen makes a phone call and make plans to meet with them while JR is gone.
Bobby finds out that someone who is interested in some property the Ewings own will be coming into town, and wants to meet his wife.
Sue Ellen is at Cliff's, they've been seeing each other for a couple of weeks now.
Bobby tells Pam about the man coming into town and tells her he wants her to organize the party, she's nervous about it and he tells her to ask Sue Ellen for help.
Sue Ellen is on the phone making plans to meet up with Cliff again, when Pam asks to meet her in Dallas for lunch. She tells her its really important, when Sue Ellen tells her she has important plans.
Jock has nothing to do at the office, no one wants to talk to anyone but JR, so he goes to the Cattleman's Club.
At the restaurant Pam is late, so Sue Ellen is annoyed at that, and when she tells her that she wants Sue Ellen to help her with the party Sue Ellen gets even angrier with her, but agrees to help her.
Jock calls JR to see how things are going in Washington, he's in his hotel room with a blond, so I guess things are going well for him.
Sue Ellen and Cliff are taking a walk together, and he asks her why she is with him, she tells him because if would bother JR the most. Cliff tells her that he's been beaten before, but never lost.
Pam is called to Liz's office, she tells her that she's got the promotion, she is now a buyer, and will go to Paris with Liz on the 17th, which is the same day as Bobby's party.
At home Pam asks Bobby if they can push the party back a bit so it will be perfect, but he tells her that they can't.
Sue Ellen went to the doctors, she tells him she hasn't been feeling herself, he tells her that they will be doing a few test and get back to her soon with the results.
Bobby goes to "The Store" and sees Liz, he wants to buy Pam a dress, she thinks he knows about Pam's promotion and he acts like he knew.
Back at Southfork the doctor calls and gives Sue Ellen the good news, she's pregnant. The family is all happy for her. Jock calls JR and Sue Ellen tells him the good news. He tells her that he'll be home tomorrow.
Sue Ellen goes to meet with Cliff and tells him that she's pregnant, he assumes it's his baby, because of what she's told him about her and JR. She breaks things off with him.
JR gets home and his parents tell him how happy they are. Bobby gives Pam the dress, and he tells her it's for when she's in France. Pam tells him that she's going to wear it to his party.
JR and Sue Ellen toast the baby, he asks how far along she is, when he tells him, he doesn't think it could be his. He hits her, and she tells him not to do that again, and that he's just got to get used to the fact that it could be his and if might not be.

Final Thoughts: This was a pretty good episode. Nothing stands out, the news that Sue Ellen is now pregnant is interesting especially now that we know that she was having an affair with Cliff, now the story will go back and forth about who the father is, which will be a great storyline.
Best Outfit: This is just more of JR than I really want to see.
