Recap: Blake has to cut the honeymoon short because of the assassination of a Colonel in the Middle East, now his oil is being held.
Fallon and Jeff are spending more time together, this makes Michael angry. They welcome Blake and Krystle back from the honeymoon.
At the Blaisdale house, Matthew bought Claudia a car, she tells him she's not ready and they have a fight, he tells her he's tried of having a crazy person for a wife. He leaves, taking Lindsay to school. She looks at the car and finally gets in, and pulls out of the driveway, but freaks out when a car come right after, hogging the whole street, (this is something I have to deal with everyday on my street, not to mention store parking lots)
Walter and Matthew are talking about how the bank refused the loan, and about how everyone quit when they found out they weren't going to be paid, they go for a drink.
Claudia is out for a drive, she looks really happy. She's got a picnic lunch for her and Matthew, but finds that he's gone. She runs into Steven and she offers to share her lunch with him, he refuses, but takes a sandwich, Claudia watches him drive off and eats lunch alone. Blake has, what looks like everyone who works for him at the office in his house, he's really busy and closes the door on Krystle.
At the bar Matthew is trying to win the guys back, he tells them that he got a loan, Steven comes in and says that he'll work for him, the other guys give him a hard time and beat Steven up, finally Matthew steps in, they other guys say they will come back to work, but only till Friday, they'll walk if they don't get paid by Friday.
Fallon tells Blake that he should try to win Matthew over and get his leases. Krystle and Blake are going for a horseback ride they run into Steven who tells Blake that he's now working for Matthew, which thrills Blake.
Krystle wants to eat outside, but one of the maids tells her that Joseph, the butler doesn't do that, they she wants the menu changed, the cook tells her that Joseph always has them serve duck on this day, Joseph asks if she wants it changed, she says yes. Blake tells Krystle that they are going to have a dinner party and that Walter and Matthew are invited.
Fallon is going to go on a date and Michael, is whining about their relationship, one day she'll want him, but then he'll be gone, he tells her.
Blake wants to know what's wrong, she's upset about the party, but also because the servants don't listen to her. He has Joseph wake everyone up and tells them that Krystle is the mistress of the house and that they all need to do what she says. He fires the gardener for telling her that he won't put flowers in their bedroom because Blake doesn't like flowers in his room. Krystle tells him that she didn't want him to fire the gardener, he tells her that he'll apologize and Joseph will ask Blake for his job back, and he knows that she's new to all this and that he'll teach her, I think he better do it quick, but I also thought the staff were pretty stupid not to do what your bosses wife tell you to do.
Fallon went out with Cecil Colby, she tells him she wants him, he says that he wants her to marry Jeff, and that he'll get her father out of trouble if she does. She agrees.
Final Thoughts: First episode after the 3 hour pilot, there's a lot going on, Blake's business trouble, Krystle's issues with now being wealthy and the staff not listening to her, Fallon conspiring with Cecil to help her father by marrying Jeff, and Matthew trying to get his business going. Things seem to be picking up, looking forward to see what is going to happen next.
