Fallon's Wedding

Dynasty
Season 1 Episode 4
Air Date:  February 2 1981
Recap:  Blake gets a call from Chicago, he wants them some reassurance that Cecil will give him the money that he promised, he gets another phone call and finds out that the money has been transferred.
Steven gets a phone call from his friend Ted, from New York, he's in Denver and wants to see Steven.  Steven said that they made an agreement never to see each other again.
Over breakfast Fallon talks about over hearing a couple who are married to other people talking in the shadows.  Krystle tells her to continue, but Fallon says no.  Jeff joins them, he apologizes to Krystle for what he and Fallon did the night before.  Blake asks Steven how things are, and Steven assumes Blake wants to know how Matthew's business is doing.  Krystle gives Steven a book and a box of chocolate for his overnight shift.  He tells her he likes her being at the house, and that Fallon will come around.
Walter and Matthew discover that there are some papers missing from their files.  Walter tells a story that implies he thinks that it's Steven who took the papers.  Steven joins them in the office and gives him his tax form Matthew gives Steven the poetry book that Steven gave to Claudia, he says that she was supposed to keep it.
Later Steven calls Ted and they arrange to meet up later.  Blake goes to Fallon's room to talk.  He asks her about her and Jeff, he tells her that Cecil was talking to him about the marriage.  He tells her that he would be very pleased if she married Jeff.
Fallon goes to see Cecil, she tells him she doesn't think that she can go through with the marriage.  She goes to see Jeff and convinces him to take the rest of the day off.
She tells Michael that she doesn't need him, he goes in to the building and tells Colby's secretary that Fallon left her purse at her desk, she says that there's no purse.  He flirts with her and she gives him her number and tells him to pick her up at 7.
Ted is already at the bar when Steven arrives, they talk about the apartment in New York.  Ted asks if Steven is lonely, and if there is anyone new.  Ted asks why he left, he tells Steven he wants him to come back to New York.  Steven tells him that Blake know about him being gay.  Ted wants to have dinner, but Steven gets up to go, Ted tells him that he's leaving tomorrow.  As Steven leaves we see one of his co-workers.
Michael is talking to a man at the bank, he says he's working for Blake and that Blake is very disappointed that they are giving credit to Matthew.  Michael threatens him.  Matthew gets a call from the bank, he tells Walter that the bank cut off their credit.
Blake yells at Michael, but then tells him that he reminds him of himself so he gives him a raise and tells him that he is now going to do somethings for Blake.
At the oil field the man who saw Steven at the bar makes comments about him being a "pre"vert, Matthew steps in and hits him after he says that his wife went to the mental hospital because Matthew was gay too.  Outside Matthew talks to Steven, who tells him about Ted and that he still wants to work for Matthew.
Fallon and Jeff burst into Blake and Krystle's room with the news that they just got back from Vegas and that they were married.
Final Thoughts:  I don't like Steven's boyfriend, he's pushy and has terrible hair.  I feel bad for Steven, he's got to put up with his father and the ignorant co-worker, who is probably gay too, and that's why he's so vocal about his hate.  I like Matthew a bit more in this episode, just for the fact that he stood up for Steven.  I wish that the Michael character would just get off the show already, his face bothers me.  This episode has former Dark Shadows cast member Kathryn Leigh Scott in it, she's playing Cecil Colby's secretary.  I will point out others when they pop up in episodes, as well as other famous actors who are bigger now then they were when they were.
Best Outfit:  I've come to realize that I think most of Fallon's clothes are terrible.
Fight Count:  1 (Matthew vs. Ed)
